Jamie, I'm with the chrome or taking what you have and turning them into black chrome but solid black just isn't hitting me for some reason. I think you like the thought but you're not going to like the look. Black chrome would really look good and give you the darker color you're looking for but I like it just as it is.

I'm not very good at shading and coloring stuff but I can cut and paste pretty good.
