I'm a Lineman yes.. I count on the b@stard running the Derrik digger to NOT touch the live circuits or I may become the piece of toast on the pole.. lol
Gotcha ! I'm pretty lucky I have the option to refuse getting into my own bucket IF ithere is a need for help. I'm always the one who lifts people or operates whatever machine were using. So your outdoors for the majority of the time as well huh ? I bet its brutal being an outside pole dancer in Michigan winter. Lol I use to complain about it when I first started , I would shut down for heavy snow and rain. Now I see that as $$$ and I don't care for summer. I LOVE the SNOW! The only thing I hate. Is the salt they put on the roads. They need to use solar things to heat instead. Heck anythings better than salt !
You should be tied down with a harness of some kind ?!! I've got a good friend and he WAS an iron worker. He fell 2 stories /12 ft. Isn't far but it is if your falling ! He spent a year in the hospital and is now going into the safety scene !
Good luck out there ! I sit on the edges of my Veyor belts in the summer and I couldn't imagine falling. Even onto mulch it still would hurt like heck !
ROFL. Haha glad I don't have to wear any restraints. Not that it would smash anything but it would be generally uncomfortable. I'm gonna stop complaining about my solid rubber rear tires. At least I don't have to be tied to the dang thing!
