guys i have to sell my car but in order to do so i need to fix the factory HIDS..one is out. I have a 96 lsc. I need to know what kit specifically i need as far as manufacturer and part number and some contact info if possible. Ive bought one in the past and it wasnt the riht one..also perhaps some contact info for the delrin adapters. My job is crazy i have a pregnant wife and i simply cant search hours through the forums to find the answer...i jsut want a basic setup,,no fancy colors what ever gets her legal again.thanks for any help
 
In addition to my adapters, you'll need an aftermarket 12v 35w 9006 HID kit.

I bought mine from VVME.

Get either the 4300K or 5000K bulbs. I prefer the slim ballast kits, but if you're just going to sell the car, you can get the basic (less expensive) kit.

You'll need to wire the new ballasts into the wiring harness where the OEM ballasts get their power.

You don't need anything alse but the kit and the adapters, no extra relay kit, etc.
 
what? its been a few months since the last time he asked, i'm sure this will be the last time asked :shifty:

he did mention in the title that he is a little slow.

That was why I stayed out of this one because when it was first asked, there was no mention of it being a 96 LSC with HID housings. All that was said was Gen 1 and that's why I told him 9005's. Now I know he has HID housings but it might be next year before it gets fixed. Could you imagine how long it would be before the adapters were actually ordered? I'm sure ordering adapters and the kit would be very speedy. :rolleyes:

or you could let me have the housings, i will send you $100 and my non hid housings bulbs and harness

orrrrr If i could get A flight cheap enough i would come and swap it all out for you and keep my $100 for travel expenses:D;):) I love cheeseburgers
 
ok thanks guys..like i said im really preoccupied with life i was jsut asking for a little help..i actually havent had internet for awhile..i bought a hid kit,,,blew a bulb in a retard move and think now i just may need the bulbs and the adapter as i have the ballasts,,i guess i was kinda expecting someone to hold my hand onthis..i am clueless in regards to electronics and just dont want to keep buying the wrong thing with a baby on the way
