Yes this is taken from my Cell Phone...

wow... that actually looks really sharp! I don't know where else you could carry the treatment to since I think the wood looks great with it but it wouldn't hurt to tie it in a few more places I would think.

The wood looks good with the Satin Nickel. Im working on the doors today.

Haha, for a minute I thought I was looking at a gen 2 interior! Nice job!

Thumbs up. I think that satin nickel works very well for the LS. I like it in my 2003.

Looks just like mine I did it about 2 months ago. Except I painted behind the door handles and the shifter area. But I didn't paint any wood grain like you did.
Nice work though.

very good job. I may have to repaint mine as well as the silver has faded in a few spots on my 05. Is it hard to remove the console?

Im just having trouble getting the wood and door handle off...but yours looks pretty dope

interesting you did this... I was just talking the other day about doing mine in the appliance stuff to paint white or black stuff in a stainless finish

I've always liked it when the interior trim matches the exterior color. It does such a good job of tying the car together.

That looks nice, makes the wood shifter knob stick out more. You should do the piece that surrounds the window button on the doors.

Is that a V6 model? I've never seen a slanted shift panel thing before >.> Especially not one that has a 3, 2, 1, gear select...

back on topic... I like it :D I'd like to do this eventually and replace my boring black panels. How much did it cost?

Crackerjack I think that is the normal shifter without SST. Same as mine - 2000 V8. But yeah, I love it and am planning to do this as well as painting a few extra peices while also painting the woodgrain to body color. Buying extra pieces so if I don't like it I can keep the stock look. :D

Looks good! I like mods that look like they could be factory. Care to share your process? (prep, paint and technique) I ask because I'm always interested in learning different people's methods. Thanks! :)

How do you get the covers off? I know how to get the ash tray out but I'm lost on the rest

This helps!

QUOTE=Gipp;518740]THe top 2 air vents just pop out too. I use a flathead to get my fingers under it on both sides and just pull.

There are two bolts on top if the radio.

Pull out the ashtray like RollinLS said. There will be two bolts under the climate control.

After removing those 4 bolts, popping out the airvents and ashtray, and disconnecting any wires, you should have everything removed.

As for the center console, yours is different from mine (being that yours is a 2001), but Ill explain how I removed mine just to give you a general Idea.

The top portion of the center console pops off, pull up on it from the front so you dont break the plastic clips in the back. Once removed you will see 2 small bolts in the front, 2 in the middle, and 4 more in the back after popping out the rear airvents. The console comes appart into 2 pieces. Pushed the handbrake cover down so it will pop out of the console and twist it to completely pull it out. Slip the console over the handbrake and VOILA!![/QUOTE]

I have a 2001 V8 Non Sport (if that helps) Without SST.

And to be Honest no exaggeration This project only cost me like $10.00..BUT a lot of time and patience.
