Before doing business with this guy a few members here vouched for him so I decided to take a chance.
Back around 4/20/13 Sapperfire approached me wanting the Tracklock and 4.10's I offered to sell another member.

I gave him a price and he countered with various trade offers. I agreed to take some used front end suspension parts then sent him my parts on 4/23, signature required FedEx.
They were delivered around 4/27/13 but nobody signed for em until about 5/02.

While I was at my mom's memorial service looking at her in a casket Sapper calls cussing because I made a stupid (but honest) mistake and sent him a 7.5'' gear which came from a different vehicle than the track lock did. I bought an 8.8'' Ford ring and pinion the next morning online.
An 8.8'' gear was delivered to him on 5/10/13.

*Back on 4/27, Sapper texted me saying my parts would go out on 4/29 or 30.
*On 5/02 he said it was boxed and going out
*On 5/07 he said it should be delivered by 5/11
*On 5/10 he said he checked tracking and it would be delivered 5/14
*When I asked him for a tracking number he offered some story about how his partner left the door open and a tornado blew it out into the corn field
*Sapper stopped responding about to me 5 days ago
*2 days ago his partner said if it hadn't been sent already it would be sent on Thu 5/23 (I contacted him b/c my parts went to his, not Sapper's, house)

Come on sap get on here and clear this up.
A tracking number is not hard to supply I send it to everyone I ship to.
 
Don't worry Dnsherill, it was mailed tomorrow and will be delivered June 12, 2014.
 
Why is it relevant that you were at a funeral? Did you tell him that before he started cussing? You are also omitting that you had a transaction with him prior to this issue that went without incident. As much as he does need to get in here and clear this up, you have been omitting facts at every opportunity that is not helping your case. You never mentioned in the other thread that you send the wrong parts until you were called on it, for example.
 
He may have sent wrong parts but he fixed that problem asap unlike sap.
So he was hiding the fact he was good on his word.

I am still very confidant he will, it will be in his own time, the more you
complain, the more time he will take.
 
You all here know me, know I am honest and take care of members that are not idiots. Well I am telling you all the parts have been shipped and are in route. I did not lose any tracking info as there is not any. USPS. You should have your parts mid next week due to the holiday.
He is not responding because of the way you behave and the general nastiness of your responses. Me, I am a little more confrontational and if I were him I would pop you in the mouth for the PMs you sent me.


You are a lousy person to deal with. You have zero understanding of how to work on a vehicle and call/text to the point of being an absolute pain. You are sent pictures of parts you will get and a description of said parts then throw a hissy fit when other parts are not in the shipment that were never said to be included nor in any pictures sent. You then go on to disrespect another person that has absolutely nothing to do with the transaction and call his closest friend names and make accusations.

So once again, I urge members here not to make any transactions with the OP unless you like to deal with..... unsavory (being polite) people.

Members like him are why we lost so many good people on this site. Just sick of the douchery. There are so many great people on this site it saddens me I no longer want to come here due to people like the OP.


BTW, get a new phone.



EDIT: Also I was sitting next to Sapperfire during the call when I pointed out the gears were 7.5". He was abrupt due to being aggravated about the gears but he did not cuss you out or call you any names, he didn't even raise his voice. After the call is when he realized it was your moms funeral and felt bad for discussing car parts errors on that day.

Why won't he? From what dnsherrill has said, he is good on his end. Sap got the gears but dns hasn't gotten his parts.

It shouldn't be on his time, he has his parts and Dsn should get his ASAP. And if there is anything to be cleared up Sap would have by now came in and explained any problems he might have had with dns.

Still doesn't explain why he lied about the shipping date.

25 days later he STILL doesn't have his parts. Even if he shipped standard post(The cheapest) it should only be 4-5 days MAX from Tx to GA.

Completely unacceptable.
 
Easiest explanation is poop happens. I do no know why there was a delay and I have informed Sapperfire about the thread so it is up to him to respond now.

Hell I just sold Jeb some lights and sent them last week. They just came back to me yesterday with the boxes completely water damaged and shipping labels missing. Fortunately only 88 people live in this town and the mail lady knew I sent them so she brought them back to me and told me what to do to get a refund. I just got done reboxing them and am about to drop them at UPS just so I can have a tracking number this time and know the box does not sit in an old leaky post office for a couple days. But Jeb has delt with me before and knows I will not screw him so unlike the OP he isn't texting/calling every 5 minutes and blowing my PM box up.

OP has delt with Sapper before and has been told on here he wont get screwed by Sapperfire yet insists on calling and texting non stop every day.
One call/text is all that's needed. Don't need to call several times a day with "Wheres my parts?"
OP has been informed of the long hours we work, has been informed we are 22 miles from the closest shipping point, knows Sappers only method of transport is my truck and knows he cant just drop everything instantly.
 
It shouldn't be on his time, he has his parts and Dsn should get his ASAP. And if there is anything to be cleared up Sap would have by now came in and explained any problems he might have had with dns.

This is a public forum.
I bought a cobra intake on a different forum recently.
It took forever to get it and I didn't always get the correct information.
The person I bought it from had a 1 on trader feedback so I was a little worried
that I just pay-paled money to nowhere land.

Found out later he had some issues at home, glad I never called him out on a public forum... you never know what people have going on.
Hell... he might just be pissed....dam Texans!

You need to send the parts for inspection due to your lack of knowing what a proper part is. While its generally not required there was an exception made for you due to your track record.
 
Stay in touch with buyers. Give them a reasonable estimation of when parts are expected to ship. Send a tracking number which is available at USPS as well. If it is going to be an extended wait, then state this BEFORE you have accepted money for the transaction. This should always be a rule of thumb when doing business online. When one sends money outside of eBay or Amazon, one has nothing but faith and reputation to rely upon that goods will be delivered as promised. Folks tend to get panicky quickly when they have upheld their end of the bargain and don't perceive to be receiving the same courtesy.

.I've been on enough crews to know that when someone is MIA, there's a chance he's incarcerated....if he is, that sux...but seriously, the guy sent me a picture of my parts in a box and ready for shipping 22 days ago...

track record= sending him a $400 money order b/c more than 1 person vouched for him
track record = sending him snowflakes and rear air bag tops I cut so his rear tires wouldn't scrub, no charge, I paid s/h
 
The problem is, without the support of this awesome community, our Mark VIII lives would be much more complicated. We have to rely on eachother to keep our cars on the road. I hope this resolves itself properly and promptly, guys. Sorry to hear it. :frown:

yea, as I mentioned, he approached me and offered parts....I gave him a cash price for what he wanted and he offered a trade

And you accepted and sent wrong parts and then the right parts and then he sent you all the other parts and then we all had pancakes and I was all "nom nom nom"

that's BS, EVERY item (other than stamped letters) mailed by any shipping company has a tracking number....w/out a tracking number it ain't shipped

let me do you a favor Bill as you probably haven't been arrested as often I have or in as many jails as I have.
the charge of simple assault results from making a threat, that includes verbally, literally and online. Simple assault escalates to terroristic threats with certain 'hot' words. An action takes it to aggravated assault
So while I'm not a lawyer, my suggestion is to choose your words carefully, nothing posted online ever disappears.
