Has anyone tried Alcon/Roush calipers yet

"The Alcon/Roush calipers have two pistons on each side of the inner portion of the caliper, which activate each brake pad individually, allowing for much greater clamping forces on the rotors," Pucciarelli continued. "The calipers are bolted to adapter brackets and do not have any side-to-side motion. The Roush rotors are 14 inches in diameter and are slotted for better brake pad and rotor cooling, which act like fins in a radiator, so to speak."

They are around $1300. For that price I would spend the extra $100 to get the 6 piston Willwood setup with the two piece rotors.

They'd be overkill for most street/strip cars.

Now if you had a road course car, they should be on the short list. ;)

The only reason I've come close to considering the Wilwood setup is to one up other Marks with regular 13" Cobra brakes, so I'm with Driller. Overkill for damn near any Mark.

You need to be real careful with rim selection with calipers like these or the Wilwoods/Brembos etc. Even with my 20" rims, the Brembos don't fit as the curve of the spoke is 1-2mm to close (the calipers could probably be clearanced no problem, but I'm not one for doing that to $1000+ worth of metal) :(
