My red Lincoln Stars arrived yesterday. I installed the front factory grille immediately. I snapped these pictures this morning.

Just got back from dropping the LS off. Getting some audio/video work done.:D

I did redo the trunk beauty boards. The carpet looking a bit worn. Added two pairs of Sony 6 1/2" co-axial speakers. I had them laying around. They came out of my work trunk 5 years ago. I got sick of moving them around. Figure what the hell. I have a spare amp.

Keep checking for updates.:)

Looks great, dude. The front end seems to be lacking something though. Maybe it's just me. I can't really put my finger on it though.

Your LS looks Great, but I too prefer the McLaren grille with a red Lincoln star. The trunk mounted audio is a very clean installation, one of the best I have seen. "Anything worth doing, is worth doing right", great attention to detail.

At the risk of being shot at, I like it better, than the Mclaren grille. I think it gives the car a "beauty" look rather than "sport".

I also think you should PTM the headlight bezels...Man I LOVE how clean your lights are...wow.

+1 it's missing style. trunk looks nice, but the car is butt ugly!!!!

Bad news.:Bang The 7" moniters for the headrest are to big. The shape of our headrest makes it impossible to do a clean install. So the headrest moniters are out. Due to the ohm load of my PPI amp(4ohm mono). I need different subs. Only have one in stock. The other will be here monday.

Could it be the headlight bezels need to be painted to match the car?:)

Outkast mantioned it. I have thought about it. Still debating.

I think I liked your car better with the McLaren . That's just my opinion though.

I still have the McLaren grille. Plan to hit the junkyard monday. Pick up a new rear surround. Paint it Autumn Red and add a red Lincoln star. That way, I can swap out the grille and rear surround anytime I want. Go for the sport look or chrome.

Get bored with one look. Change to another. Its nice to have options.

Yeah I have the same thing with my LS. I have the CDC grille as well as the Mclaren.

Thank you for the compliment. I like to keep things clean and simple. The carpet is a bit thicker then the old stuff.

The trunk audio set-up is a step by step process.
1. Standard: subs, amp, beauty boards.
2. Current set-up: adding another amp and the two pairs of 6 1/2" speakers. I will upgrade the 6 1/2"s speakers very soon.
3. Next step: fiberglass the underside of the trunk with a 10" moniter and a pair of 6 1/2" speakers. Then fiberglass the rest of the trunk with amp rack, subs, and the remaining pair of 6 1/2" speakers.

Be able to sit behind the car at car shows and watch movies.

Wouldn't that just TANK your battery.. Man I have a 7inch double din and if I turn the car to "on" or whatever with the engine off.. It will last maybe 30 mins not even before the battery is dead, always have to remember to start it up for a couple mins! :D

I would leave them black. It might be too much red up front and "kinda in your face".

Other than that it looks good. Five stars on the system in your trunk. Came out real nice.

you need a better battery. I have a 7 inch screen to with an amp, and I can jam for an hour and still be ok.

i think if the uper and lower grills were both gloss black they would look awesome its alot of red up there, needs some contrast, but it still looks awesome

The uppet chrome Gen1 grill goes well with the non-sport chrome bumper trim.

I blacked out my signals. I found the chrome was to much with the amber out, really jumps out at ya. They also are way brighter than they need to be without the amber lense. Blacked out they look way better and are still plenty bright.

Think it would look good on yours that way. Flat black blends just fine with the stock plastic headlight surrounds.

Thank you for the compliments and suggessions.

I didn't pick the LS today. Figured no point in picking up. Not going anywhere over the weekend. No point in playing the stereo without the subs. I will be posting new pictures monday afternoon.

BTW If anyone is interested, I will sell my "old" beauty boards to anyone interested. I don't want them to go to waste.
