Rear License Plate

Some piece of sh*t stole my rear license plate by ripping the whole damn thing off. It even ripped out the screw holes from the plastic molded piece on my car. Does anyone have a part no. or know where I could find one?

Report to the police ASAP!!!!! You will be able to get a free replacement plate too.

You don't get a free license plate in Indiana that I know of. Our BMV likes money too much.

I filed the police report and took affidavit to the license branch and they charged me 10.00 bucks for a replacement. Im more upset about the molded part on my car that has to be replaced.

I have a Gen II rear surround, but looks like you have a Gen I in your avatar.

check out post number 6. I had the same problem and ordered the bigger nuts then jb welded them in there for some extra help. No problems in the 2yrs since.

Thanks guys! Put a couple of enlarged screw fastners in with some epoxy just for added protection. Seems to have fixed the problem. Saved me $310.00 for a new trunk frame.
