WOW what a day. We put light weight tires and wheels on the front of the Mark VIII and removed the back and passengers seats. Trunk Monkey took videos the first half of the day. Then I took over videoing and my nephew Charles drove the Mark VIII. Trunk Monkey beat us every time last week. This week we were closer but still 1/10 slower. Charles managed to beat him one time by beating him at the light which is hard to do. The announcer was making a big deal about it and they were the last run of the day and both turned there best 11.8682 TM to 11.8708 Charles WOW what a ending. Everyone was on the fence. Afterward I found out to make it closer they had Charles stag on his back wheels. So I can't use is as my best time. I'm glad TM won because I would have hated to win like that. What a fun day though. Hope everyone else had a good a day. Hope we get some good videos.

great time, it just seems you should be faster with supercharger, etc. do you grip all the way down the track?i mean people running in mid to high 13's with same setups except sc, they're expensive for 1-1.5 sec less. your getting there, i want to see high to mid 10's from you!

Having a supercharger can vary from mild to wild. He is running good times for his combo. Good runs Don!!!

Congrats, your MPH is very impressive... making good power there!

I looked this up and it shocked me.

I wouldn't read a whole lot into the internet HP calculators. They're usually all over the map and use simplistic calculations assuming a LOT of variables.

Regardless, you're running great! :D

wow that is very impressive if your still running the same setup with stock internals and everything

Yes. I used Aluminum spare tire wheels on the front with the lightest used tires with the right dia. I ran a half water half alcohol mixture in the meth injection. We removed the back and passenger seats. And we closed up the spark plug gap to .038 ( reved higher with out missing)
