I was on my way to the grocery store when a dumb@$$ ran the red light. Ive been following this forum for about 3 years which is how long I've owned my car. Everything that I had to repair on this car I was able to do because of this forum and I'd like to say thanks to everyone for the tips, tricks, and walkthroughs.

Glad you're okay. Sadly, another one bites the dust. Too bad because it looked nice. I don't get what is so hard about stopping at red lights. These people should be shot.

Not to sound cold but can I have your grill if its not messed up? :D
 
You'll hve plenty of cars in your life, hey maybe another LS. Glad to hear your ok.
 
They SHOULD be shot. This guy was driving a 90ish toyota camry, its not even worthy of taking down an LS like that. Oh and my grill is not an LSE grill, its a look a like. It looked nice tho
 
Maybe I will get another one. Its under full coverage and now im just waiting for the insurance to get to work. Also it wasnt just me in the car. It was my wife and our two kids. I was the one driving and I swear if it wasnt for the side airbags I bet I would of broke my arm.

I would have beat that dude within an inch of his life. Not cuz of the LS, but becuz of that he could have killed your wife and or kids. That sucks either way. Good to head that everyone is ok. Good luck with the insurance. Buy and 06 LS. You won't regret it. ;)
 
Thank God you and your family were okay.

If someone ran a red light and hit me with my family in the car, HES A DEADMAN!!!!!! I see idiots ran red lights all the time. I have been hit before by someone running a red light. People don't seem to understand what can happen, when you roll the dice by running a red light.

Glad to hear you and your family are safe. Bummer about your car but it will be replaced.

Mistakes happen. Patience and forgiveness will get you much farther. Anger and grudges allow people to live in your head rent-free.
 
Thank you all for your concerns, honestly I would of not loved this car as much as I did if it wasnt for this forum. I have had some really tuff tuff times on repairing this car but with all the knowledge that I gained by reading and using the SEARCH feature I was able to fix anything and everything. Thanks again to everybody.

Mistakes happen but something that endangers my or my familys life is not a mistake. Its negligence...and theres rules on the road for a reason.

I have a right to live as much as the next person. They dont have the right to take that away. If someone runs a red light thats just plain stupid and ignorant.

Lets be glad the op and his family are ok. many other cars would just crumble or fold into itself.

Have you ever been hit by someone running a red light?.... If you haven't, then STFU. I have. Lucky for me. I was not hurt. I saw the idiot and stopped. He still manage to hit the frontend of my Blazer.

I was run off the road by someone crossing center and rolled my F150. I have been t-boned by someone running a stop sign and totaled my Audi. I've also been rear-ended by a teenager; totaling my Celica.

Accidents happen. If you want to avoid them stay off the road.
 
Do you realize you put a post from the OP in the "poor response" category. You're one of those people that can't just make a post but you have to criticize and judge everyone else' posts, take the time to categorize them, and post that. You should just forget about this community because posts like that give the place a bad vibe. Once you make a post like that most people are going to defend themselves. After that all you have managed to do is start an argument and completely ruin the OP's thread. Congrats and a kind :q:q:q:q yourself from me.
 
like blackls06, there are mistakes, and then there is negligence. running a red light, probably negligence. obey the rules of the road.
sucks to hear about the car, but it did its job and kept your family safe. and that's really what matters.
 
Is that the passenger airbag??

Why is that thing so freaking huge?! Also did you have curtain air bags and did they deploy properly?

Glad you and your family are okay. Gotta love the LS for the safety it has with all the airbags.

Dude, I could tell you stories of the chit I have seen. You would chit your pants and sell you car. You would never want to drive again. I have over a million miles under my belt. ACCIDENT FREE!!!!!!!!!:p
 
HAHA! Thats me reaching behind my seat to take out my oil that i was gonna put in the following morning. I guess thats not gonna happen. Im not fat, im just big boned.
