i have looked on several mod motor , lincoln and mark 8 sites , and it seems that there are some pretty quick mark's out and about
i know every one who is driving and racing them are not on the boards
any ideas on maybe the top 10 cars
i'm not talking about tube chassis or backhalf cars
i mean stock chassis , stock suspension (coil over conversions are fine ), modular engine , street type vehicles

You've got "The Fastest" naturally asperated Mark VIII in the US on this board!!
Geno from Lincoln Motor Sport has THE TERMINVIIIOR!... Doin the 1/4 in mid to high 13's... I've not heard better, without NOS system or serious mods.

LMS also has the SUPER MARK... Factory OEM Concept... Dual intake SuperCharged 4.6 Liter Cobra Engine... Gears/Exhaust ALL STOCK! That thing is fast as hell too, but is hard to keep from breakin loose with all the torque it builds!!

Talk to Geno from Lincoln Motor Sport!!

my passes were with nitrous , the 13 second ones anyway
i've read about hotrodtod running 11.00's, i know its lightened but its still a stock type mark

Not to downplay the TerminVIIIor or anything, but I'm pretty sure there is someone out there running 12s in a N/A Mark. Just because you haven't read about it on the Internet doesn't mean it isn't out there. To claim "Fastest N/A Mark VIII in the US" with mid-high 13 second passes is pretty far fetched.

From back in the day, I can remember guys like Was Fuz running 13.7s several years ago with a Superchip, Exhaust, and 4.56s. He might have had a converter as well. I think even Peter Donato was running high 13s with just bolt ons (albeit several of them).

SEVERAL people that I know of have run 12s with either NOS or a Blower, most using some version of the Vortec. Few have run 11s but I haven't seen a 10 second street Mark yet, although again, I'm pretty sure it's out there.

Names like Geno Angelino, Joseph Barrett, Dennis Reinhart, Daniel Rolante, Keith Brown, Mathew Tumminello and Jeremi Lutostanski come to mind when I think of Fast Marks.

Also note that there are several very quick TBirds out there as well.

Well said Kale. Mine went 13.44 @ 102.993, I claim fastest and quickest NA STOCK engine Mark VIII. My engine is BONE stock just bolt on's.

A sample cut & paste for a couple street legal Tbirds...

If there's even a single 10 second Lincoln on this planet, I'd LOVE to see it. Until then, yours truly will be embarking on a quest for a 700+rwhp Mark 8. All I have to do now is find some more of that elusive "money" thing or rather.

No doubt in my mind my car would have gone deep into the 10s even on the small S trim blower.
With the T trim LOW 10s.Problem at the time was all I had was drag radials and the car spun those like I was on anti freeze.
Dennis went 11.60 something with far less HP than me.
At the track I only made one full pass with the nitrous and bolt ons and it went high 12s on only a 75 shot. Most of the time I made passes where I let off at the end to make it look slower than it was to make money on the street. :)

When I'm done it will go 8.70-8.90 at close to 160 MPH
In case anyone cares I actually worked on it a little last week. LOL

8's in a stock chassis lincoln with a mod motor, or is that going to be a ladder bar car

Oldschool, that white car looks famililar!! LOL! That was the first time the SuperMark was EVER driven in the rain. That show's weather sucked.

I care. I actually spent some time on the Monster when I was down in Ohio a couple weeks ago. Hopefully she'll be home soon. Have to finish the basement and paint the whole damn house first. Then I get to play again.

The rear will be four linked but the rest of the chassis will remain stock.
This isnt going to be a cut apart race car.It will still be a LITTLE streetable.Power windows etc etc.

Well, it's true: I have yet to see a post from the "Mark VIII Owner we dare not speak of" on CVN, MM.net or any other Reinhart-ocupied website regarding his new times.

I will confirm that 10 seconds is the amount of time you'll spend talking to him over the phone... :D

I think he ran 10.8 its some where on the LOD somewhere. I remember he had pics of it, I think it rides the trailer now.
