Yessir. I am one of a few 2nd Gen cars that rev it all the way out. It works quite well with the Cobra intake and I wouldn't shift any lower.


With the cooler weather approaching I am itching to run it on the new tune. In the next couple weeks I am ordering up some slicks and possibly some M/H front runners. When I left for work this last week on a cool crisp morning I got on it and it felt faster than its ever been thus far. It even sidestepped just slightly into 3rd on the street tires. I'm liking the extra power and I think the car is several tenths quicker. I'm setting lofty goals again and I'm shooting for 13.20s

If that starts moving around on you, an inexpensive alternative is the headrest mount that CruiseCam makes. That's what I use for my in-car vids.

Oh coolio. That's a better alternative. And especially if I get this other car, then I will definitely need something that mounts. This next car I would be putting into the 11s. :shifty:

When my car shifts at near 7k the ass kicks out to right and the smell of hot rubber hit my nostrils. I have no idea what my car runs or puts to the ground. But I would take the Pepsi challenge against any NA Gen2. Just my 2 cents.

Ok, still not sure if you get it. My car hasn't ran 14s since 2010. That's my first point. My second point is your car never ran 13s on gears and tune alone. I should've figured that you have nothing on paper. :rolleyes:

I don't give chit about track times as my car is a street fighter. And I will run anyone here that wants to come to Il. Lots of butt hurt folks on here. In fact I had no intention of building a motor, it just sorta fell in my lap. If someone wants to donate the money for a few dyno pulls, I'm game.

Well, I sure don't appreciate the name calling. As far as mods, it is a bit much to list. I will give the short list. 5.0 stroker kit with all forged guts, stage 3 isky split pattern cams and supporting mods, custom porting on heads and intake, elec. water pump, 3.73 gears, 3200 rpm stall, 42 lb/hr injectors, underdrive crank pulley and a custom built trans for 700hp. And I shaved some weight off it, but I have heavy wheels and a stereo. I am sure I skipped a few things. With my mods, I should be putting down over 300hp to the ground and running low 13s with the right tires. I really don't give a chit though. I was just ribbing Kenny, but then he had turn into a bitch and start calling names. Grow the fvck up.
 
I have a better idea. Take you and your slow car out of my fvcking thread. No one cares about your car that supposedly runs low 13s. As you can tell, most people don't voice.their opinion but I do and I am going to go out on a limb and say you are probably one of the most unintelligent people on here and the biggest bench racer I have ever met.
