i reallly really want a Gen II, so if you know anyone interested in a cheap mark with spare engine and transmission let me know.
 
So why the change? Is it cause you know the 2nd gen is a sexy beast? :D

You dont have to sell your current mark, just do what every other american does and take a loan out on a gen 2, then not pay. lol.
 
Define "cheap". :D There's a few guys i know who are interested in one. If my cousin and i bring any more mark's on base, we'll have our own car club. LOL. Any pics?
 
I am still debating it or not because there are somethings about both gen 1 and two I love but my mind is one that changes very frequently. I just don't know what to do anymore my mind is going every which way it can.

Lol speaking of change, I just bought a GM!!!!
 
Yeah GM trucks seem to be fairly inexpensive compared to the Fords lately. Have been searching for a replacement F-150 and for what a 97-00 4x4 x-cab F-150 with 150-200K on it runs I found an 03 GMC 1500 4x4 with the larger engine and all the options. Only $6900, will prolly go drive it tomorrow.
 
I bought a 1999 Short Bed Reg Cab 2wd 4 cyl 5 speed Stepside S10 (showroom condition).

I don't need a V8 truck, I don't haul anything. I also have enough common sense to know how to drive a rwd vehicle in the winter.
 
2.3l ranger woulda done justice.. and you could have fun with it too, and lasted forever ;)
 
I like the S-10's - would certainly prefer one over a Ranger.
 
Why did you get a truck if you don’t haul anything? That’s like getting a hooker and cuddling all night with her/it

Gen I's are easyer to find in yard's....like all over my yard.....

When I said haul anything I meant hook a trailer up to it. I meant I need one to throw stuff in the bed to help my father out, mulch, dirt, trash, anything. His truck is about to :q:q:q:q the bed and he is getting to old.
 
You can haul the Mark around in it when it dies lol. I prefer the S 10 over the ranger myself. what year S-10 did you pick up?
 
ok that makes more sence, come with a bench seat? Like stated before get both if you like them both. I just dont have the fundage for two working marks right now.

1999. Don't know why I said 2001 in the other post, I fixed it though. Must have been thinking about the Tundra I was looking at.

I was over on the S10 boards last night and saw an Ls1 swapped s10 and I was like no don't look anymore , stop, why are you pulling me in with your gravitational pulll, stop.

Luckily I escaped and decided against an ls1 swap.
 
I can never pass up buying a car with a smilie sticker on it eaither. :)
