Pulsing lights (all)

The other day my battery died at a friends, we checked my Alt and it wasn't putting out enough volts (12.6ish) , so I gave me a brand new alt, we charged a while and installed the alt
now while i'm -rolling only- either coasting or actually accelerating all lights that are on will pulse, and they pulse with the speed I'm going...if I'm rolling slow, they pulse slow, rolling fast they pulse fast...
It does it with both the ABS light/CEL, headlights, drive lights, cluster lights...all lights pulse
I checked the new Alt and it's putting out 14.2-14.8 volts at idle. Battery is fully charged ...any ideas?

so an over drive pulley would make it spin slower, and produce fewer volts right?

Pretty much but at running RPM it will still make too much voltage. Anything over 14.2 is too much. Should have came over and I would have tested the system and fixed it..... assuming the regulator in the alt isnt bad.

It is not $20. Liar. Even in my car its $13 so in yours it should be about $10.

Rent teh old lady out to the new neighbor guy for an hour.

I know how much gas I use...it takes $10 to get to temple and back, which is an hour drive, you're a 2 hour drive...$20

I think the problem just found me...car over heated, radiator fan is dead...I'm stuck right now in the middle of nowhere
