What kind of pulleys are the best to get for a 98 mark?

Im looking at some March pulleys to buy.

I have some brand new in the box BBK's for sale for the Mark. Theyre part number 1559. Lemme know if your interested.

ive heard mixed things about pulleys doing more harm than good... any thoughts? ive thought about getting a set myself but im still unsure

Depends on what you want out of your car if you are one of those guys that prefers cruising and big subs/stereos. Or you could be a guy that likes the extra couple of hp so your quarter times are a bit better. Pulleys will have a negative effect on your charging system. But less drag on your crank

Put the Steeda crank pulley on it and a smaller alternator pulley with a shorter belt and call it good for both charging and the HP gain. Later you can go a step further with a Meziere electric water pump for a couple more ponies. :D

i not really in to subs so i want to go for hp

The smaller alternator pulley will put the charging system back to stock performance with the underdrive crank pulley, that's a good thing. With the stock pulley and the underdrive crank pully, the charging system was lethargic at idle.

Using the alternator pulley included with the underdrive pulley set, it will even be worse.

So how do you get a smaller alternator pulley if the one included in the set is not good?

I'm thinking of opting for the Steeda set. I should purchase the one for the 96-98 Cobra right?

Will I need any additional parts for this install?
