Projector retrofit idea

Finding a big enough projector would not be a problem. I did some research a while back when this idea was fresh in my head and found some I think will fit.

there are plenty out there and with a shroud it would be no problem what-so-ever. I plan on trying these down the road after paint and exhaust.

I bought a few shrouds but some of them are odd looking. It might look best to fill the hi beam bezel with just the projector or make my own shroud.

whered you get them from? I was thinking about blacking out a e46-r shroud to fill in the gen1 hi or lo bezel.

Yep, looks a lot like a G8. The PS is also a little off as one eye is larger than the other... looks like it's trippin'.

Anyone ever put projectors in the fogs? (too lazy to search today)

A couple people have

Another person did it (can't remember his name) but he left the plastic lens off and painted it black. Looked really good.

Edit:

Found it http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=76957 pictures half way down the page.

Something like that, but this was referring to gen2 lights. Yours look great by the way.

I'm thinking he needs to either do a write up or start offering the service of projector installs! Lol

I want to see them done on an ls with the gen 2 headlights with projectors in lse bumper too. That would look effing sick.

I'm in bed right now but tomorrow I will take a picture of the rear section behind the headlamp housing. This step is a must if you want the projectors to fit inside of the headlamp housing like the way mine is. Some of you may want to go for it and others may not, but it is a must to achieve a clean, factory look.

Tomorrow, mates!
