Got everything done. Car starts but wont hold an idle. If you hold it over 2500-3k rpm's it is fine but under that it bogs down (stumbles real hard) and dies. Had the wife start it while I looked under the hood but couldnt find anything obvious. I thought maybe the IAC vac line was getting cut off but it seemed fine. Everything is plugged in where it should be, TPS is wired correctly. What else do I need to check?

I also noticed that if I try to hold it at a steady rpm, like 2500, it will surge up and down. I am sorta at a loss here.

The tps might be connected, but be malfunctioning. Test to see if its reading at different positions. My car was surging 'til half throttle, then was fine. Tps didn't register anything before half throttle. Check it out.

Will do, thanks.

I also just realized the egr tube isnt capped off yet, could that be causing this?

I figured it out. Had a HUGE vac leak cause the gasket between the top piece and the lower slid when I put it on. Runs like a champ now! Cant wait to go drive it tomorrow. I would now but its been miller time for the last couple hours. Been talking to Lonnie about my tune options so I will have something soon.

Thanks for the help guys.

Good deal!

I'd not that there is a slight difference in the intake volume... not nearly as bad as switching form a gen 1 to Cobra but there is a difference.

+1 for manifold volume....

Lonnie should be able to get you squared away in no time.
he's got alot of experience with these cars.

Yep... which still boggles my mind.... I wouldn't even want to think about how many wires were involved... OMG....

Why don't you ask him lol... I don't know THAT much about the car....

I think that this is the engine... but I'm not 100% on that...

Ya that OBD II 95 of Lonnie's is impressive. I'd love to know the details of that OBD I to OBD II swap, but won't ask as it's his intellectual stuff.
