Pressurized vs Non-pressurized Cooling Systems

You can, however, buy a gun from a private seller without a problem.

No.

interstate sales of all firearms all falls under federal regulation by the BATFE

while you COULD in theory buy a privately sold handgun out of your state, you (and the seller) would be committing a felony.

I do this as my "retired" job. We transfer firearms bought out of state all the time. The firearm just has to be transferred through an FFL. Were I to buy a firearm from a friend in Texas he would have to fill out a Private Party Transfer form and submit a color copy of his drivers license. Send those items to a CA FFL (my "boss") and then do the DROS. Just DROSed an M1 Carbine for a guy that he got from his grandfather. Ten days and $65.80 and he gets his long gun. He'll pick up on the 9th (eligible on the 5th).

All I know is there's tons of cash deals going on between "private" sellers around here and they seem to ask very few questions other then how much. Is it legal? Probably not always. But then again that's not me and that's their problem. I just did the paperwork and registered so there's nothing to worry about. I also don't travel with it which takes care of whatever might happen if I drive through NYC on my way to Maine and I get pulled over with it.

oh man, I never travel without my little friend... the real crazies seem to always be out on the hwys! and if there is a state he cant come with me, then I have no business going there...

I will tell you this, I wont even fly anywhere (at least inside this country) without a pistol with me, since starting to do so, haven't had one single problem with my luggage getting where I need it to go as it always gets special attention, also love not having to wait for it to come around the little race track. its always first off and waiting for me to pick it up at their special office.

The FAA in their infinite wisdom and to "diversify more" has decided to eliminate the cognitive skills and aptitude portions of the ATC test. Seems those sections were replaced by social questions.

I sure retired at the right time!!

Man, you guys in the USA have it all !!! I live in a country where they don't allow "little friends" ... at best I can make them walk home funny and I don't even like baseball.

Jeff, was I still gonna be moving in with ya and one point or another, we all need little friends in life! I could borrow some of yours! Crazy Canuck with his little friend living in the US getting cheaper OEM LS parts for free with a mask on.

- PINCH - ah, dream is over back to reality.
