POS LS....Bad luck yet again, hate this car.

Make sure you tell them you won't pay for another deductible, get angry about it too, they'll be more inclined to do their best job. Worked for me.

Call Ford Customer Care. If you are still under warranty, no dealer should refuse to work on the car.

well the original dealer puts a 1 year, 12,000mi warranty all work they do anyway. i am just afraid ill come out of their again with a car worse off then when i brought it in like what just happened.

also is it bad for the car to be driving it with a misfire?

Well you are dumping unburned gas into the catalytic converter.
I suppose if you drove it long enough it could damage it
requiring a replacement.

Look up the customer service number for Lincoln (not Ford) and tell them about your experience at both dealers. Based on my own experience, the dealers tend to come around after getting a call from Lincoln.

Alright, so I take it to the new dealer and they won't touch the car. Unbeleivable. They say they won't touch it since if the previous mechanic at my regular dealership F'd something up I would have to pay out of pocket then fight the dealer for reimbursement.

In order for it to be fixed under warranty, the initial dealership that did the work must complete the work. The initial dealership did not complete the work seeing how you still had all the problems so no one else will fix it under warranty.

I had this issue myself, it sucked going back to the same dealership I told off.

My experience with this is that they just put the info into the computer to help customer care and relations in the future, that was the customer care agents words exactly. In a serious situation they will send someone to the dealership if the dealership manager complies.

That number is pointless if you ask me.

Maybe you should write "Lemon Car, Dealer Rip Off"
on the car in white shoe polish on the windows and park it in front of where you took it.
Stay with the car and tell people who are on public property going into the dealer to be careful explaining your story.
You're too nice saying you have friends there.
With friends like these who needs enemys.
If you attract some attention and it starts to hurt their business, they'll take care of you quick.
Stop pussy footing.
Do this for a few hours a couple of days in a row and they'll do something.

That, and you're washing down the cylinder walls with fuel where oil should be. Also depositing fuel in the oil, where it was never intended to go!

Like I care. Its their fault. They shouldve done it right the first time. And I called them and they know they F'd up and apologized but never advised me not to drive it. So if it blows up, they can replace it due to their negligence. I do not give a sh*t about this car anymore.

Ill give you 3 thousand for it and you wont be upset anymore. You will also have a nice down payment for the car of your choice.:D :D :D

no, unfortuantely that sounds good haha. but dealerships are actually offering me much better than that on trades. got one offer for $15k

Luckily it's under warranty until the 29th of this month but they extended the coil warranty anyway for my year. This car is ridiculous. All of the windows rattle, my rear pass. speaker makes a clicking sound whenever I accelerate or just drive normal for that matter. I'm taking it to a different dealership this time If someone wants to tow it away from my house, and strip/destroy it "without my knowledge" please feel free.

I'm sure I could set that up...

lol. IM KIDDING...just had to say it.

Funny. My freind has an 02 or 03 RSX Type S. Well....had. It got towed from out front of his house in an extremely nice neighborhood in broad daylight. It was found 3 days later in a bad neighborhood, stripped on cinderblocks. No engine, trans, doors, stereo, wheels, exhaust. Nothing. But he gets anice fat insurance check. Figures he doesnt want his stolen and it gets stolen. Mine....no such luck.

Well, maybe Lincoln Canada is different. I had called them to inquire about some work I had done, which the dealer insisted was not covered by warranty. Lincoln told me it should have been covered. They contacted the dealer for me, and within 20 minutes I received a phone call from a profusely apologetic service manager.

I am going to take it in one last time to have this problem fixed. If it is not I have no other options but to call Ford customer care. I do not want to right away because I do not want to burn my bridges with freinds at the dealership if I don't have to. And since if they screw up the warranty work, other dealerships have already said they won't touch the car, that only the dealership who screwed up the work can.

So if it isn't fixed this time, I'll try customer care. Is there a certain number or is it on Ford's website somewhere?

Glanga, Sorry to hear about your problems, sounds likw what always happens to me when I take my car in,

When my car smelled of burign oil and started misfiring I took it in knowing it was the valve cover gaskets, and obviously one of the coils were beeing flooded with oil. SO I took it in and they replaced the driver's side bank. replacing one coil, and the gasket. They also did my ball joints, faulty drivers side door handle, and gave me anew 6 disc because cds wouldnt play on it. 1700 dollars later, (1300 of which my aftermarket warranty paid for) i was on the road.

The drive home my dad (in his GMC envoy) decided to be funny adn "race me" from a light, so of course I hit it expecting to embrass him and his straight six beast, but my car starts jolting and sputtering. WTF?!? i said to myself, the envoy even beat me for the car was misfirng soo bad. next light i smelled that great smell again. burnt oil. NOT EVEN 5 Miles form the dealer and the problem was still there, after three days of being fixed too. One of the mechanics, when putting the gasket on, accidently rolled the corner or it broek off or some BS story, so it started leaking again.

I took it in a while ago for my graning wheel bearings, and they kept it for a day to diagnose and get back to me.( i dropped it off right beofre they closed.) picked it up the next day becuz I didnt want to pay 1700 dollars for new bearings/knuckle install, and i noticed they pit 12 miles on my car but used 35mi worth of gas. hmmmm ALso the tech when handing me my keys siad, "we all love that exhaust" i bet you do guy... I specifically told them how the noise sounded, where it was coming from and at what speeds, so why the need for a 13 mi test drive?

sorry had to vent there, but hey I still love my LS, but I think if I had a cts-v i may have the same opinions as you towards the LS. But i dont have a cts-v, and i prob never will. SO good luck with this problem, and just bitch at the dealer, they screwed up so they shoudl fix...keep us posted

Oh I C, well thats a different story. They will give that info to you as well as contact the dealer, but in case of over all poor care and or treatment they dont do crap.
