Here are some pics. First ones of the year. Didn't wash it or anything. 135,000 miles and a engine bay that gets dirty that dirty in 2 months.

I havnt cut the hole in the rear dash upper panel but did the metal rear deck allready..Once i get some dough im going to get some matching fabric and cut a direct blowthrough to let alittle more air into the cabin

That's Sexy!! What 1.5" lower kit did you use? You go with H&R's or Eibachs for the springs? You using tokicos?

stutmasters. i beleive there made by moroe. Scored the whole kit new off a local member for like 250..Going to add new rear shocks once i get a new job. I'll never buy the cheap moroes ever again.

thanks..Really for the most part visually thats really the only thing i've done minus the rear badging delete, lowereing and a a/m antenna on the rear window(tacky oem one broke)

Eventually i want to get a subtle shade of tint on it.. Maybe 35 all around or 20 on the back 35 on the sides.

Also, the black box on the right side of the trunk next to the box is for the phone right???Can i remove it seeing as how its really the only part showing on my install? Someone told me it was for the compass and said i have to keep it level for it to be accurate...

Honestly, when I put the system in the 94, I took all of that crap out. The compass, the amp, the phone module and entire amp rack. When was the last time you used that compass? mhm, that's what I thought. If it were me, I would remove it all. It will not effect anything except the compass will be lost. You can leave it plugged up and tuck it back behind the carpet but it will still give false readings.

the upper shelf is gone. i had to remove it for the blowthrough.. I built a new rack that attaches to the back of the trunk. It houses my sub amp, loc and factory amp.

Now that i think about it Isn't the compess module thing on the rear deck just for 1st gens?

I agree though on the use of the compess..I just like knowing that it works if need be.

I'm thinking of getting a 2nd gen rear seat back, and cutting a blow thru in the center arm rest storage, that way I can close it if I want.. Saves the look of the back dash, and much more simple, yet equally effective

you'd have to cut out the "x" bracing behind it for it to be worth it..Are you planning on putting the port right up to the armrest hole?

I'm sealed so i dont really think it would've mattered had i gone that route. And btw, once i cut the hole in the upper carpet/backing and recarpet it you wont beable to tell theres a hole there much like it is now.

id say phone, my 98 didnt have a phone and the only thing in the rack was the stock amp. compass is in the mirror.

aahhhh, finally found the problem with my amp...works great and the black cell box is now gone...looks better.

I always hated the look of the early style airbags. I've got the early style in my 97 and think it makes the interior look dated. I recently found an updated style 97 ebony black one to replace it though, so now I'll be happy. :D

+2 the stamped logo looks crappy, never noticed till a 97 came into work a few years ago and i was like :yuck: that and the 97 and down JBL badges are stamped instead of nice and smooth, nothing major but i feel it looks better. damn i love my 98 :D
