It was a beautiful day for this. 75 degrees out and enough clouds to not be blistering. These were some of the nicest cars I have seen in a while. I also have to give the guys at Overkill props for their kindness and info. They are truly honest knowledgable folks. I had a best run with the BONESTOCK chamelion of 199hp. With a beautiful flat torque curve from3,000 up. It kept coming out of third at 5500 due to the stock tune.

What I don't understand is why my speedo was reading 135-140 right before I would let out [when it shifted to OD even with it off.] Where is the governor? I understand why it shifted at 5500 in the 3-4 but why did it allow me to go so many MPH'S?

All in all it was a great day.

I'm not capable of video, hopefully Mercury LS will have some. I felt bad running the Chamelion like that though. But it felt good to finally wind her out. I don't do the things on the street like I used to. After I take her to the track this summer it will be it for the rest of her life. Nothing but a peaceful life on out.

Pics of the sheet in a second. Is that GOOD? She only has 66,000 miles and is tight as dolphin pussy!

Here you go I took some crappy ass pics of the sheet with my 60 dollar camera.

If that's SAE corrected then it's not good, my 93 did 220whp/240tq corrected and would've done more if we hadn't cut the pull short (gauge problem.) If it's uncorrected, it might be good depending on the atmospheric conditions.

It's a bit hard to tell with those pics because we can't see the RPM axis, but it looks like it might be dying out a bit on the top end. Maybe fuel.

Here's what my hp curve looks like, maybe you can compare them since you're the only one that can see yours :p

One of the employees of Overkill said I would be running 12% higher numbers on another kind of dyno. Which would put her at 223. She is 100% bonestock. Even the plugs. I always run 91. And they were having troubles getting the rpm's right. I was alright with it though. She jumped hard when they gave me the OK at 3,000 And she kept shifting out at 5500-5750.

It is really hard to get good numbers if you don't have a tune locking it in 3rd with the converter locked.

What dyno were you using? They're right, it does make a difference. If you were on a Mustang dyno I would expect a Dynojet like I was on would read 5-6% higher. My car had no power mods at the time, unless you wanna count Autolite 103s and hacked off mufflers and of course the stock W3Z2 PCM.

But the main reason I posted mine is to compare the shape of the curves, it seems like yours might be choking out a bit on the top end.

My curve doesn't drop as much as your's when I hold mysheet up to your pic.

Around 4750 you seemed to start to fall off. Mine started to fall off around 5250. Maybe this will help a little. And like I said they were having troubles watching my rpm's. They messed with it for 30 mins before I said I just wanted baseline numbers.

I am afraid it might have a cheap pump in it due to one of the invoices that came with the car.

It's a Dyno Dynamics Dyno. It shows around 12% LESS than a Dyno jet.

Thanks for coming guys, it was a great time! I think we are going to schedule another one near the end of summer!

REEE SSSSPECCCTTTTTT!!!!! WALKKKKK! lol

HAHAHA! You look like that dude. He's a bad a s s mofo!

I can picture the following happening you have your tinted windows up, someone starts talking :q:q:q:q, you roll down the window and just look at the guy with "f'n hostile" playing in your car. The guy mouth agape blows the red light and goes crying home to mommy. :D HAHAHA!

I've saw 3 stock marks on the same day, same dyno, make between 190-220 rwhp

You guys definitely had good weather, looks like a good time. See you this weekend.
