Before people say use the search button- my computer is acting up and every time i click search it closes my internet explorer down and sometimes freezes- Several people have told me its impossible to fit dual 2.5'' pipes under a mark viii. I've seen tons of threads where people with stock non LSC exhausts have gotten true duals in 2.5'' piping done. Anybody have a picture of a 95 base with true duals? - preferably with 3rd cat delete and an x pipe put in its place, true duals in 2.5'' piping out back to mufflers. My dad said when he wanted to have duals done they said its impossible to do duals in 2.5'' and that they would have to go smaller than the stock 2.25'' piping which is stupid. I think they just don't want to bother doing the work or they've never done a mark viii before and don't want to attempt it. A picture of a base 95 with 2.5'' true duals and x-pipe would really help my situation and show people that it can be done. Thanks.

Meineke.. and they call themselves pros :p

Yeah, you've mentioned this before and I told you they are idiots. If you mention Meineke again I might punch my computer screen.

That's not a bad price at all for that system. Yet another reason it amazes me why some people think they can charge 3X the price for an exhaust setup. If you get that kit, put the exhaust hangers on a shelf in your garage or try to sell them. Clamped exhaust is half-a$$ed exhaust and will leak. Just get it welded. And just for the hell of it, stop by Meineke and show them the exhaust piping and say" see here idiots, it's not rocket science"

You need to find a modular specialist in your area, or buy some tools and stick around

Oh hey thanks for that link, i've seen people say they got a sct chip from someone named Torrie but never knew the website. This might be a future christmas present since i'm allowed to get stuff for my car this year :D

Hey did my chip for my 95 LSC and I was very happy with it. Car ran a 13.8 at 101.3mph with stock torque converter and untouched 95 4R70W, stock exhaust manifolds, all season tires, stock intake manifold.

That chip with a custom tune ain't cheap and unless you plan on going to the strip with that car and racing, honestly, I wouldn't bother with that money cost. Exhaust is where my money would go instead. Juss sayin...

With just a chip and I'm sure exhaust right?

I definately understand what you're sayin. My dad said it'd be a waste of my money if i got a new exhaust done, since he got it done almost 2 years ago. It sounds good for what it is, and when you rev the engine it sounds good. What i like especially about it is when i have someone else(friends or anyone) who don't know what a mark viii is say damn that sounds mean lol. I'm definately not racing with the car, I would like to have some more pep in its step, and maybe better throttle response. It's just a thought, so it could be something I get in the future and it could not, all depends on if i have the money and if thats the route I want to go with the car
