philly0420's hid hybrids!

i took a set of halogen housings that i had, cut the lenses off, and philly sent me a pair of HID lenses only and i rechromed the housings and put the hid lenses on them. they turned out pretty sweet, i have a few bubbles in the chrome on the back of the buckets that just wont go away so i had to give up and consider them as good as i could get them. here are a few pics i took last night before i packed them. i hope he likes them, the lenses were rough inside and out so i had a hell of a time making them super nice, there were a few small scratches that were deep in the plastic so i couldnt get them out but they are hard to see. this was a pain in the ass not like redoing halogens!

Now that I have the HID lenses that I have been after for five years, I am gonna drive it more this spring and summer. I may just put a 1000 miles on her this year. Thanks again Jaime. And thanks to KK for selling these to me for practically nothing.

Do you still have the back half's of the HID housings? I have a set of HIDs that have killed 2 deer and the housings are toast but have good lens in them. I'd be interested in buying them.

The backs were totaled out... do the same swap, put your good lenses on some regular backs.
