It's actually a quite ugly girls car, she was bragging how her and her girlfriend (literally) , did all of the "mods" theirself

Lol and i bet that hunk of junk could beat most of the riced out imports on the road haha.

Is that manual? Or is the shifter and boot made to look that way?

Unfortunately I actually know an individual with a Pontiac (Black on Black however) that is pulling 12.6's with something similar!

For what it is I was impressed but not for the amount of money he had into it :shifty:

Some people have different tastes. While this car looks like s*it to us, the owner may be proud of it:confused: Different strokes for different folks is what I say. What bothers me is when ricers and cars like this running around revving their engines thinking they are the fastest goddamn thing on the street. I love it when they pull up to me when I am in my jeep gc srt8 and rev it up! I just laugh at them! They all know what my tail lights look like though:D

to me that's not really taste or personal preference that's just throwing a bunch of crappy looking crap on a crappy car in a vein attempt to look cool

It's their car and their money! If they want their car to look like a turd then $100 bucks and a trip to pep boys and its done!

Yes it was a manual, and no it wasn't fast...I replaced all of the brakes with oem components, rebuilt the calipers and bled the brakes...then test drove the hell out of
it

3400 6 bangers are nothing I would call fast, even without an air filter on the "cold air tube" it also had some after market muffler with no visible brand and wal mart exhaust tips...it sounded peppy at idle...total let down...lol

The driver is a teenage female, goofy short purple hair ....just sad

Lol, right, I barely payed attention to the motor, just noticed it was ugly as hell, snapped a few pics and laughed, went to lunch ...

Seems to be interest in the dumb things I work on...here's some more for ya then ..

These rotors were installed yesterday by an aircraft mechanic ....

the actual damge wasn't too great, because it was driven a short distance, being directly to my shop when the owner realized something wasn't right about his brake job
the total sum of repairs exceded $1000, which I was saddened about when I heard his tale of woe about his wife passing away not long ago, leaving him (age 38) behind with 6 kids ages spanning 2 - 17

anyway he didn't realize that there are 2 bearings needed in a hubbed rotor, he didn't install the inner bearings on either rotors, nor the seals, nor grease. It destroyed the rotors abs ring, the abs sensor, the caliper had grooves almost cutting it in half down the middle, and all shocks were shot as well as leaking wheel cylinders , worn shoes and springs
