Ordered my first mods last night

Isnt the 4" aftermarket one better?

Sure it is.
But a 93 shaft works fine.
I don't think I will see a difference on my car the way I drive it.
I would put my mod money somewhere else, not on a aftermarket shaft when I can find one in the bone yard that is up to the task.

Do you spend allot of time at 90-100 mph?

No not at 100 mph +
80 to 90 yes.

100 + here is close to a DUI.
You get poped one time it's 6 months no license.

Do you drive 100+ to justify the cost?

OBTW I did go over 100 MPH and it didn't vibrate on me.

Works great.
It don't take long to get to a 100 with the 4.10s :D :gr_devil:

+1 on the 93 one piece holding up. I ran consistently at 80+ on a regular basis and had no vibration issues at all. Oh and

Well then I may just save $400 and get the 93. I do spend 60 miles each day doing 80-85 and sometimes I have to hit 100 on the short passing areas. I wont do it but one time but I also want it to be vibration free when I see what its top speed is. :D

The highest I took mine with 3.73's was 140mph with no issues. I mean, if I were to do such a thing, I think it would do it without issue. ;)

Laser, when you talked to Max on the phone, did it have a lot of static on his end? I ordered some stuff today from him and the static in the line was kinda on the loud side. I like dealing with him though, especially the discounts.

Nope, the line was always clear when I spoke to him. Ordered several times through him as well. Crap, now I have to search for a 93 shaft in my area. Not holding my breath... unless someone has one they want to sell me. :D

you need to stop cramming miles on that car and get a beater

Prolly tack on $25 for shipping...

KK, let me make sure that the DS I have isn't a 93 first. I just went and looked at it and I got the 2 halves of the 93 shaft that was cut and it looks just like the 93 shaft. I don't see any welded pieces near the ends or anything. If it turns out to not be what I'm thinking, I'll get one of those from you.

Anyone have true picture differences to look at?

Laser, sorry for hijacking the hell out of your thread. ;)

It is my beater. I bought it so I wouldnt put miles on my Cobra that I no longer have. Besides the car is in over all great shape so if I killthe engine then ill just drop another one in. :D

Not my thread. You are taking my Koolaid though!

Madison, AL. 35758 and would this be considered a mod? I don't want to get addicted or anything.

if you compare the weight between the 1 piece and the rubber/bs filled two piece shaft it could be considered a mod.
