Ok SO first I have used search on most of this but not allot of concrete answers to be found. I have a few thing I plan to do in the month I have before I drive from Columbus Ohio to Coco beach Fla to Detroit mi and back to Columbus SO I need to be 100% about all my moves to prevent delays.

So I am thinking of saying screw it and buying new wheel that I like and not that I can find used. after a hub swap any reason these will not work?
Size: 18x8
Offset: 35mm
Backspacing: 5.90"
Bolt Pattern: 5-114
Rec. Tire Size: 255/45-18
Weight: 23.5lbs.
Finish: Bright Silver Paint
Construction: 1 Pc.
I know 8in wide wheels will limit a tad but it is my driver I have a "fast" car so 275's will be enough

2. I have a 04 cobra irs to use for parts I plan to use the center and both axles (31 spline) and the hubs with new bearings. Questions from this are
: any issue using the cobra axles?
: Do I use the mark bearings or cobra (assuming they are not listed as the same part number)
: Other than the adapter bracket for the caliper and new rotors will I need any other parts for the rear?

3.Exhaust.. Anyone make a catback?
:anyone used these guys? http://www.mandrelexhaustsystems.com/servlet/the-117/93-dsh-98-MARK-VIII-EXHAUST/Detail

4.Sensor drop, I like the control box but I dont have time or cash for that atm so anything I need to know about this does 1in at the sensor = 1in drop?

5.Cobra intake (mine is a 98 lsc) I have a 98 cobra intake , What are real world returns for this swap power wise? What is all needed to complete the swap? is there a write up I missed?

6. Drive shaft anyone have one for sale close to me? What year t-birds work? 93 mark as well too correct?

Oh and I will do a build thread with pics once I start in on her

1: Yes they will work. 275 is a bit wide for 8"
2: A: no
2B: Dont matter. Both will work.
2C: No
3: Lincoln Motorsports. Link to the right------>
Or you can build your own with the mandrel kit listed. Just need cans and tips and x-pipe
4: 1/2" of sensor movemment is close to 1" suspension movement
5: +5HP maybe. Lose a little on the bottom end. Dont know for sure whats needed but its been covered several times.
6: dont want a T-bird one as it offers no gain. 93 is a cheap item to do. Dennys is better but $400+

I have a built 4.10 pumpkin with a trac lok in it thats not installed cause I want to trade for a 3.55 setup. Let me know if you are interested. Everyone here loves 4.10s and swears by them. I just have very large powr goals so dont need that much gear.

Laser what are you running tire wise? to start with I will be going 245/45/18 since I have a buddy that have 4 new ones cheap (200)

I have been to the lm site but nothing seems to be on it other than mufflers that autozone sells. I am thinking magnaflow, Borla or maybe SLP loudmouths

as far as gear I thought about 4:10's but I am only dding it so it isn't that important to me and mph is nice to but if I change my mind I will pm you first

Won't the cobra pumkin be made for 31 spline. While you axle will be 28 spline.

yes I am using the matching axles as well (I don't like breaking stuff :) )

I was running 245/45/18 and 275/40/18 and thats a perfect height replacement for stock but thats on 9" wheels. I am now running 255/45/18 all around but will change back to the old size when the power levels go up.

Reading FTMFW!!!

With a little tweeking the 31 spline will work, ask slowmarkviii. He has been running an 03 cobra diff for a few years now.

As for the Cobra intake there are several writeups on various sites about it. In real world numbers people are gaining 2-3 mph on their trap speed especially if other mods have been performed. There is a vendor here, Temple Performance, that can give you more insight on the swap.
