Hey guys,

Well, I need to do an oil pan gasket swap on my car, like I did on Rich's car a few weeks ago. This time I am going to do it on my 2 day weekend and I want to clean/paint my old oil pan. My only problem is that I won't have enough time to clean/sandblast/paint/wait for new paint to dry and then put the car back together in that time. I do this kind of work at my mom's house and there really isnt anything there to sandblast or clean the pan with. I would need to take it to work to be sandblasted.

My question is this, would anyone be interested in sending me an oil pan. I clean it up and paint it and put it on my car. Then I send back my old pan, back to you. I could sand blast that pan for you too before I sent it back to you. My current pan is completely rust free, this car has been a FL car its whole life, except for the 2 years I lived in NC.

Anyway, if anyone is interested please hit me up.

I've got a nice one sitting in the garage. I assume you'd pay for all shipping?

I've also got a really tight set of motor mounts if you decide you just want some stock ones.

I've got my engine apart, I can send you my pan if still needed. Would love to have one cleaned up so I could paint mine as well. Mine is a 98 pan

I also need 2 motor mounts, if there are any still available, please let me know

Ooh, I just realized that yours (Dan) doesn't have the reinforced flange that came on the 95+ cars. I'd rather not trade my pan (from a 98) for the older style... :(

Sorry, just wouldn't be a good trade to me. I was planning on cleaning up this pan all nice and swapping it out on my 98 when I install my headers and stuff. I don't want to install the older style on my 98.

Let me know if you want the mounts. If not, I'll offer them to Sapper.

Sorry I didn't think of that earlier!

Cuz broken, been searching for a Cobra motor, but seems people have gone tarded bout the pricing

I'm heading to the JY to check that pan Dan

Yep, all the ones near me punch holes in them to drain the oil, instead of just unthreading the drain plug....

Send me your drilled pans and I will tig weld them up for you or tig weld in an extra bung for dual drain plugs and faster oil changes!

That Jamie is a good idea. An extra drain or even for a sensor install. I guess it would depend really on where they punch or drill the hole or how much of a complete mess they make of it.

Jamie's good with Bung Holes :)

Dan, if you want a 98 pan let me know, I can pull it next weekend...sorry to retract my original offer, but I'm not down grading
Ill load up a pic tomorrow

I'm only good with your Jeremy, it's been so beat and stretched that I have no problem abusing your bung hole now. I remember the first time it was like trying to get a grapefruit into the hole of a soda bottle.
