Official Workout Thread?

So just an update, I weighed in at 263 friday for my fight so that went well, I also won my fight by TKO 4:40 in the first round. Waiting for a review to come out for it, and the official pictures.
 
I started P90X again yesterday. I'm using Bullet Proof at night to try to sleep. Last night wasn't so good, so hopefully the stuff will take hold tonight. I'm taking whey protein and Betagen after workouts.

it could be that you are sensetive to Corn and Starchy foods. Do you gain weight easy after having something corny related or pasta? If so this stuff will keep you up at night. It's full of Corn-fillers as well as sugars (Due to the Citric Acid contents).

If you want something before bed that will help recovery take either a steamroom,hot bath or shower to warm and lax your muscles. Take ZMA or Zinc, Magnesium-Potassium Aspartate, and Calcium. As a dessert (2hrs or earlier before bedtime) you can take a Protein shake (little to no carbs) with little to no fat milk in it to help you sleep as well due to the enzymes in milk that act as a sleep aid (enymes are removed in whey/isolates as the enzyme is a gellatin content and most whey must be contained in a powder form (even if consumed in a premade beverage)

DO NOT OVERWORK YOUR LIVER AT NIGHT!!!!


take as few vitamins as needed at night as your body starts to shut down for hibernation after 7:10pm (body's natural clock) So liquids are the best suggested after 7:10 as they are easier and quicker to break down, essential vitamins only for recovery. If you flood your liver with multitude of food or vitamins either your body will keep you up in order to burn it and use it, or it will shut down your entire body and store everything you had just ate as fat....that's how the body justifies your intake.

One of the downsides to the Bullet Proof is drinking a huge glass of water (mixed with it) right before bed. That can sometimes mean a 3 am trip to the boys room.
 
that's why I said not to overclock the liver. I drink about a liter of water before bed and often drinking the rest time to time during the night (if I wake up) but only gotta pee around 7-9am....easily enough.



I also have a Rehidration drops that I got from a homeopathic chiropractor and it makes it so the water stays in your system longer and actually gets used and uses the nutrients that you take in. Very handy

my new "nonstop lift + finish in 30 minutes" workout schedule is paying off big time... just when I thought I hit a wall this thing jump started my body sculpting like a set of jumper cables hooked into my muscles

as far as what I'm looking for which is a "model body" type look rather than looking like a beefcakes syndrome sufferer I think I'm steadily sculpting away like a madman

Muscles popping out fast with P90x but not losing any weight, in fact, I've gained a couple of pounds. Hopefully I'm losing fat.
 
sorry to revive an old one, but pretty cool thread. Very relevant to me right now.

Started working out in high school. Was a chunky freshman, 5 foot 175 pounds lol could barely max 95 pounds on the bench.

So i started wrestling. Dropped 30ish pounds of pure baby fat, for my sophemore year, wrestled at 140/145...dont laugh:

slowly started to gain weight. Not fat. Still growing lol. Wrestled 152 my senior year, i was working out with 155/160 pounds on the bench.

Graduated HS, stopped wrestling, gained 40ish pounds. My senior year in college now, and i'm starting to get my sh1t together. Going to the gym 2 times a week, ended last semster benching 225, maxed 290.

Dropped about 10 pounds since the semester started. Started taking supplements, NOXplode, and Muscle pharm creatine. Benching 260 (5 sets, 5 reps) now, my goal is to max 300lbs at the bench, i think i can crush that goal now.
