Interesting. I could use that trunk to help slow mine down at the end of the quarter mile . I always liked the look of hoods that open in the rear but I'd hate to have to work on it. I noticed it didn't show how the hood was hinged. I'd like to see more of that paint job. The truck is cool but even less functional than the hood. I would like to see more of it but with everything closed and from a little more distance to get the overall look.
I'm not a fan of the rear hinged trunk. That's just for show and there's zero practicality to it. Unless you want to poke your eye out on the corner of the trunk lid as you bend down to pick up your bag of groceries However, I do like the front hinged hood. To me, a hood hinged in the front is the way it should be. Most cars had front hinged hoods until the early 60's. My '62 Connie had a front hinged hood. And you will never have to worry about that hood flying open while you're driving down the interstate!
Big wheels and paint have never done it for me. Oh look, I spent a crapload of money on my car but it is still stock and slower than molasses in January.
Primary reason I like it is because someone on the other side of the earth has a nice Lincoln Mark VIII where normally the 4bangers reign. I'm sure that car turns heads BIG TIME overthere.
