as most of you know i wrecked my mark the 1st week of june. i was taken to the hospital although i didnt need to got a invoice from the police with my stereo and sneakers , brand new jordans, misc tools etc. the wreck happened at 3:45 pm by the time i got ready to have my godfather get the car they wanted 130 for the tow and another 130 storage and if i wasnt there by 5pm it would be another 130! anyways he gets the car and when i get there my stuff is gone including my handicapped mirror hanger, all my tools all of it. so i call them and they say it was there when it left, ask the guy who towed it. i told them its my godfather ive known 40 years he didnt take my sh@t i want my stuff well they basically said screw you and hung up. wellllllllll i filed against them in small claims any ways date to be coming, but heres the clincher. i kept 2 checks inside the lincoln book in the glove compartment and this month they both were cashed as 'cash' at the check cashing store. there is an investigation ongoing as you still have to show id to cash anyways, they're trying to find a link from the person who cashed checks both for $150 to anyone at emerald. total douches. if only i could walk again for 1 hour what id do to that driver.so if your in south florida, dont call them, if your in an accident and they come call someone else.:mad::shifty::mad:
replacing front brakes tomorrow wow are my rotors shot 2 days with no pads left. heres the kicker i went and got the rotors from my old car at dixie auto for$25 they were new before the wreck. just felt kinda weird seing her sitting there. got set of headlights and strutmasters for sale!
 
I'm surprised it's still around! Hope you get the compensation you deserve! Get those bastards!! It's a new low when someone steals from the handicapped. They will rot in hell!

Steals from a handicapped person that was just in a bad accident and taken to the hospital no less. Bunch of scumbags that will most definitely rot in hell.

The amount of low life that are still around these days surprises me.

The way my wife gets treated at the rental office, renting out Section 8 housing. She had to evict a tenant who came back pissed that she got kicked out. She came into to the office screaming and throwing things. I'm glad to know I work three jobs and try to maintain the freedoms that we have just so others can take advantage of us.

Hopefully they catch those scum bags.

+1, get yourself a good paper trail going so you'll be ready for small claims court. Small claims has a cap of around $3,000 or so. I'd take them for all I could. The checks could have came up missing from where the car is setting at now so, maybe it wasn't just the driver. Tapes or w/e for the latest check cashing place need to be viewed to see if the check thief has on some fairly new Jordans. Maybe it was the wrecker driver or could be a mixture of a few people. Either way, stay on top of this and don't let no more time get by you, if you can help it. Whoever took the checks will be caught most likely. Get all the info on the checks as you possibly can from your bank, not the check cashing company. If they cashed your checks without proper ID, sue their ass too. Don't give them time to fix their mistake.
 
Damn that sucks :mad: I wish you the best of luck getting them. I had a check book stolen out of my car once and they cashed forged check with fake ID's so no one was ever caught. :mad:

Checks are they're own case - you don't have to include them on your claim, so heck yeh, sue the sh*t out of them; I'm sure the police are already working on the check thing.

I once rented a tow dolly from u-haul and they said I could return it Sunday; when I got there, they were closed Sunday, I returned it Monday and they charged me two extra days! I sued them in small claims, they didn't show up for court, I won by default and actually got a check from them about six months later!
 
court papers already filed for first thefts. these are trying to be tied as addendum. did breaks, cant upload the pics from phone, first drive to friends new house he has a telephone pole IN his driveway about a foot. shouldvenoticed it, she comes out the door to warn me as im looking back, i turn around to look at her and smack it. fist sizedent in bumper and one same size on driver side.aaarrrrgghhh.
 
ive had nothing but bad luck since my accident. i fixed the dent in bumper, the other is just at the driver taillight. just enough where the light is in, but trim wont stay on.ive been fightinginfections and family for 5 months now, i fear the end is close for me. im just really tired of it all. dont mean to vent here but im in a place where im not wanted by my own family get no help unless from rich its all just getting to be to much.spent my life on topof the world,women at any glance now pain and suffering. i hopesomething will bring back at least my faith.
 
Hopefully the cops can make the connection with the stolen checks.
