The wires were all wet where it bends under the fender. I haven't cut into any wires coming from the fuse box to see if any are green. I did find that the red and white wire going from the passenger fog light to the drivers side fog light was green. If I replaced this wire would that fix the issue or would it be different wire?
Thanks Joe. We repaired the wire but that didn't fix the issue. We traced the ground wire over to the drivers side wheel well with out finding anything but decided to cut our losses and not try and mess anything else up. Some where the ground wire is not being activated, whether its the FEM or something else I'm not sure.
Since the lights come on when grounded we tapped into the ground for the right side low beam and connected it the ground wire leading to the fog light relay; they work with the headlight switch now. They come on with the low beams but at least I don't have to worry about leaving them on with the independent switch that was on there.
Its good, you guys lead me to a possible trouble spot with water and I cleaned up the wiring. You can see the water pooled up in the first picture. The hockey tape was a good idea and looks good.
Damn what a pain in the ass. I think I'd rather ghost ride my car into a tree then pull off the bumper and fender for an issue like that. I'm jealous of your patience. Things we get to look forward to....
