Thats sick!
Looks fuggin awesome, man. I'd rock that. I just don't wanna bottle my 170k mile engine.
Purchased a Zex Traction Window so it will only come on at wot for a defined rpm range beginning in second gear. For my initial use, I have no desire to spray in first gear. Found a very cool spot to mount it.... The opening for the cd cartridge in the disc changer(glove compartment). Will sit there perfectly with only 2 sided tape and gives me access if I ever need to make adjustments without having to access the hood compartment.
Arming switch, Bottle Heater Switch, and the Remote Bottle Opener Switch are all going in the underside the area of the armrest...as in the area that actually flips up. Trying to keep it stealth on the inside.
For safety purposes, will be using a Hobbs Switch so if the fuel pressure drops, the system will not spray. Truly not trying to damage a new engine.
Why not use it in 1st? The ratio of 2nd is so close to 1st anyway.
Your kit may vary but my switch seems to be fairly high current (heavy gage wire and contacts), more than I think the steering buttons could handle. My switch is on the console, it sticks up higher than I wanted but blends in with the traction control button. No reason you can't hide it and let the controller start the spraying when all conditions are met.
