ToddG has the best one on here. Then again, model year and price are the two main factors I judge cars by. By my logic, a loaded $50,000 2006 is better than some $10,000 2000 with $25,000 in random mods... but that's just me. :) If only they had a Ceramic/Camel with THX/Nav back when I was shopping for mine. :'( sigh

It sucks having to settle.

Hands down, it's QuikLS. He is the one developing the supercharger.:D

I would not say I have the NICES, BUT I do think it ranks up there.:)

Some of the best - were the ones nevar made:
- McLaren -> http://www.kuruption.net/?cmd=showpage&pid=21 - I have begged and borrrowed ideas from it - from the mirrors, tail-lights, clear-corners - to the charger stuffed inside....
- OLOA LS (One Lap OfAmerica) - > http://media.ford.com/newsroom/feature_display.cfm?release=20598 - My name is on this car as the LLSOC.com were one of the sponsors.... http://www.test.llsoc.com/OLOA/2005/?page=images

I likes yours better. The only thing I dont like about yours is the dual exhaust, but I bet it makes it sound like a monster. There are alot of cool LSs on here, but IMHO there is a limit to how much you can do to the LS, before it starts to look a little overdone.

Quik #1
Rollin #2
LSKoncepts #3
Vivid #4

mine in top 1,000 :)

i dont like the lights on that one or all the hood cuts..

ima have to say in random order the top 5 cars would be..
QUIKls
VIVIDls
BANGINls
RollinLS
Gray Ghost..

Decibels has a lot of work done to it too but he hasnt really touched the interior as much as the others have so i didnt mention him in the list yet.. but he is up there..

WOW! Did the prototype McLaren run? Did they use the '03+ motor? I wonder who gets to be the lucky owner of that car? It would be nice if McLaren would release the drawings and specs so that others could put the same parts on.

I didn't realize that the OLOA car was sponsored by LLSOC. Did you have to give money to get your name on the car? Very cool project to be recognized for!

The McLaren LS ran but the supercharger did not run. This is what was rumored. When the car sold the supercharger was taken off and put in the trunk. So, they never did anything good with it. McLaren had high hopes but ran out of steam when there wasn't much demand for it. At least, that is what they say.

As for the OLOA car, it was a Lincoln project that was sponsored by LLSOC. The first year they had quite a bit of problems with it but the second year had better success. I never got to see it in person but from the videos it seemed to be a hoss. Too bad Lincoln didn't learn anything from it to keep the LS around.

The McLaren used the Jag S-Type R setup - never could get it to work right because it was before SCT crack the PCM and Ford was not willing to give it to McLaren. They did not see enough market to invest in reverse engineering it themselves. The blower setup is very nice but hugely expensive. The car was actually sold on e-bay with the supercharger in the trunk.

Yes - on the OLOA car - members donated money, parts, time - then came out in force to the events. Hosted the web site of pics and vids.

I like T-Man's Red '06. The understated but beautful 18" wheels are my favourite feature, but there are a few other nice tidbits. I do not like the look of 20" wheels on the LS. They are disproportionate to the size of the car and its wheel wells.

Of course I also like the look of my own '06 Ultimate as well.

Thanks for the props Mac!

It may not be as flashy as some others, but it's our daily driver and I will put it up against anyone when it comes to getting from point A to point B the quickest. :steering
