Still using stock brakes but planning on a cobra swap shortly. Car still needs to be lowered-

Looks sweet, once you get her lowered it'll look even better. I was debating those same wheels all black. They look great, and easy to clean. Gauge looks good there, what trans are you using? I'm wanting a 6 speed at some point

Pretty sure that's the stock grand with a special shifter knob. See the O/D button and the PRND21 on the knob?

thanks- planning on H&R t-bird lowering springs with Tokicos (already have Tokicos in the back)

Yes, trans is a stock 4r70w, just with a modded aftermarket mustang knob and a mustang boot. Planning shortly to J-mod it and hopefully in the near future to install a stall converter

I like the hub swap..but I think you could find better mustang rims for it..of alll the wheels out there those aren't that good looking..no offense, I understand they were probably cheap with tires too, but those are just so plain. go on Craigslist and you can find countless ads for people selling these rims. My dad bought his '12 GT with those wheels and I think they look so boring on the car..I really wanted him to find a set of the mustang club of America rims that they only offered on the v6..theyre gunmetal 18s and have the double 5 spoke design..but hes content with them unfortunately..

I love the way those GT wheels look on the Mark VIII....If i ever did a hub swap Id go with those wheels but in black.

thanks all-

I am not a fan of these wheels on a mustang myself... but i think they look totally different and in a good way on a mark.... im very happy the way they came out. Just need to lower it and get some new springs under it.

As for the shift knob, its a upr knob that i had to take apart and machine the inside a little more. There was not enough travel in the top button to go from park to the rest of the gears... At this time I still can not get to first gear, BUT... i will. Need to break out the dremel to get it to work, but it will.

Also, the overdrive button is out of the stock shifter from my wifes explorer... upgraded that one to a Flex shift handle.

if i get some time i may make some new lincoln center caps for them...

here are the centers i made for my mustang-

Very nice Mark. And I really like the wheels. Love them on Mustangs. But I think the chrome ring around the gauge looks out of place. I like the black narrower ring around the gauges on 98lincmk71sc better.

I would paint those wheels flat black & call it a day! It's something new. No one on here's ever had those wheels on a Mark so it looks kind'a weird to us. I happen to like them. If I had your color on my car, I'd paint those flat black & lower it. That's it. Needs nothing else. LOVE IT.
