there is a guy in florida that I have bought parts off of. All he does is part out Mark VIII's. He usually sells the parts on ebay, try to shoot him an email to see if he has the parts you need

I've bought from him also ... mopar something is his screen name.

He's a little high on price when you buy direct.

He doesn't always have what you need. I'v been asking for a few items and the answer's been sorry don't have it.

I'm lucky, I live about an hour away for him. There have been a couple occassions where I've needed some obscure part over a holiday weekend and was fortunate enough to be able to pick it up the same day.

He's located near Clearwater, Florida. Crystal Lake or something like that.

Here is his e-mail address:

I was just looking at the cat that was leaking and I noticed that the exhaust conects to the leaking cat it is welded to the cat an not bolted on. I'm guessing it rusted or something hit it and it broke.

I can't decide wether I want to do headers or not. What headers work on this car? The motor is the same as the cobra gt mustang right? So will any cobra gt headers work or do you need something else?

cobra headers wont clear as far as i know. you need the kooks set. which runs about $$650$$. and the k member has to be dropped.

I just bought mine about a month ago and befor that I drove a focus for 2 years, its a biiiiig change but well worth it. I drove Tbirds befor then and frankly, I dont know why I waited so long to get one of these. they are awsome sleepers.

Beautiful cars, but many are approaching 14 years old, and pushing the 200k mark. They are increasingly a commitment.

I've had women who were less maintenance than my Mark VIII.

Mine is a 98 LSC with 106k on it and it just needs the heater fixed, a whole new exhaust(from the rooter to the tooter), new upper ball joints, a tune up. I like to surprise the ricers with it on the highway its a blast to drive.

well doesn't this make the rest of us noobs not feel so bad after all. maybe we can all grow up to be like the kid.

Didn't you get my PM Kevin... I'm in Europe right now... no phone.
