so i got bored at work last week and decided to do something to my trunk. Let me know what you all think.

I know the bumper needs painting bad thats going to get done this winter.

Looks good! My dumb a$$ is goin to mount my amps in the spare tire well.... not the smartest thing but fixaflat has never let me down :D just gotta make sure i fix/replace the tire soon after tho.... dont need unwanted corrosion
 
its not a hard box to get out of the car even if i do get a flat plus i have no spare tire in the car just an extra battery down there.
 
that was the goal when i had my old box in there i could not put anything back there for fear of hitting subs. I also have some LED's comingthis week or next so i will post some night pics whaen they come in.
 
Very nice magnet structure and baskets. What kind of subs are those?
Nice beauty pannel too. Are you using an infinate baffle/band pass design or just an IB?
 
the subs are from dc soundlab its there level 4 sub which they handle 1000 rms a piece and there is two levels above this. Check out there website dcsoundlab.com and the box is vented into the car behind the back seat the specs on the box are 3.0 cubic feet tuned to 34hz.
 
he probably said its a hoopty cause it has big wheels and big stereo witch I am
guessing according to his mods means he likes the car to go fast yours is only getting slower
I kind of agree but the install is very nice
 
I like the install and the LED's will make it look good at night. I wouldn't take the "hoopty" comment to heart. Some of us like systems in our cars and some of us like having a :q:q:q:q load of mods under the hood. I know I'll listen to the stereo more than I'll be on the strip racing so I prefer to drive mine stock with 200 lbs of :q:q:q:q in the trunk. If I wanted mods added, I would have them but then what? It's all about preference. 20's look good on Marks but there again, I prefer stock rim size and original Mark rims. I think yours looks good just like it is. Not sure what color you are going with on the LED's but I have 104 blue LED's all connected to the trunk lid light switch. When it opens, lights are on. I'm also not a trunk loader so no worries of anything hitting the subs.

Lol. Hoopty doesnt mean its a piece of :q:q:q:q.. Just what I like to call that style of car.. I personally am satisfied with nice door speakers and my thx 6x9s on the rear deck because I didnt want a bunch of weight. It's your car though,so whatever floats your boat
 
I see what u mean now i was just wondering what you meant by it. But its cool. I work at a stereo shop and i do all the custom work so i kind of feel like I need something to show what I can do. This took me all together from designing to finished pics about 4 hrs total. I no it is making my car slower but I have a problem with speeding and I promise it will still beat up on alot of cars around me and if it doesnt it will be close. The other day I raced my friends 96 impala ss and beat him by two car lengths so it is not to much slower. I would really like to get some 10 spoke directonals in non chrome but i can not seem to find any in decent shape.
 
I have some 20 spoke non chrome out back on the 93 and if I sold them, I still have some snowflakes to swap with. I thought the car was gonna be gone 2 weeks ago but now I think I'm just going to keep it for "just in case purposes" but anyway, I'm sure someone in here has some 10 spokes for sale.
 
Are they in decent shape and are u willing to sell them I can not stand my snowflakes they are ugly and hard as hell to clean. If so a picture of them would be great.
 
Well, don't pay any attention to the car but they all look like this one. I can get better pics tomorrow if you really want to see them and the one you see wasn't hit in the wreck. If you bought them, I would have to take some extra Goodyear's I have in the attic and put them on the extra snowflakes so that it would be setting on tires. The tires on the 20 spoke rims are BF Goodrich Pro Series Touring with only a hundred or so miles on them. Same tires I have on mine and won't be selling the tires, just the rims. UPS shipping will be around $60 to $80, I do know that. Either way, I need to get those tires off the rims and inside. They'll be my next set when ever mine finally wear.
