I finally bought a digital camera, so i can take pics. Some of the new parts came yesterday.
i bought a low mile used drive train 29 thousand miles, on trans and engine. Im going to the shop to take pictures of that monday. Im still waiting on my 4 6x9s for the rear tray, zenesis zn-502 car alarm, and the chrome mesh material so i can do my grille.

22 BY 8.5 35+ offset. they fit perfect. i had some gianna blitz but i cracked two damn near in half, so i bought these.

I'm gonna guess they're 20".

Surprised you found a drive train w low miles. Must've been wrecked awhile ago?..

edit: Wow 22" eh. They looked larger than 20, but didn't think anybody would actually do it on a mark. Our wheel wells don't cater to a wheel that big IMO.

Get some pics of them on the car!!

i dont know when it was wrecked. i bought it from mikes auto salvage in ind. i was told that a kid sold it to them because he was quoted 2,000 to repair the suspension. And if you look on car-part.com( where i found my stuff) you will see a few engines & trans with low miles on them.
I saw 2 other ones with just as lower than mine. i saw one with 24 thousand miles, but it was too far away.
I only paid 125 for shiping of my engine and trans as they both fitted on the same skid and was under 750 pounds. the engine was 975 and the trans was 325

i test fitted the front and they fit fine, i wont have to lift it at all, which would have been a deal breaker for me. ill test fit the rear monday and take a pic of that. im pretty sure they will be fine, i had some other 22's that had a 38+ offset and was 8.5 inchs wide that fit with no lift or rub, so these will be fine.

yeah i know some guys here are gonna flame me for my taste, but its cool ive been around here for a while, i know how things go.
as long as you run skinnys (30 series tires) you will be good i had 22's on my 96 looked real good but killed my performance to heavy. but can't wait to see it gonna look NICE!

Seems every damn part for sale anymore is "low miles". I doubt most of these low mile engines and transmissions are as low as they claim. If they are already out of the car there is no way to verify it.

I see you got the Kenwood I almost bought. It changes colors to match the cars interior lighting. The only reason that I didn't buy it was because it didn't have a sub output. I decided on the X993 single din eXcelon. I would like to see some pics of that stereo when it's hooked up at night and see how well the match is.

Another thing, you do to your car what you like to do. If you want 22's, put 22's on there lol. You're the one driving it, although I wouldn't have went past 19's myself because 80% of the plush ride will be gone now but if you have smooth streets, then don't worry with it. Can't wait to see what it looks like.

I really want to see that deck lit up along with all the other interior dash lighting at night though. I think it's going to light up nice in there.

hope you have money left to upgrade your brakes now! stopping those 100lb wheels is gonna be fun lol!!

The engine and trans was in the car when i bought it. But looking at it un wrapped, it doesnt look like a 30,000 mile engine to me.

I went to the shop to check on my car. i was going to test fit a wheel on the rear but i dint feel like going to get the tires mounted and stuff.

lol, yeah its time for a brake upgrade...the wheels only weigh 24 lbs each.

Really? Cause, that's really light for even a 20" wheel.., keep in mind though, when the wheel's rolling .. the larger it is the more rotating mass, even if it weighs the same as a 17" wheel for example, the brakes are going to think it's way heavier just because the weight is further out from center. Def want some larger brakes. Just sayin, though, not ripping on them at all. Curious to see the pics when they're up.

Looks like the swap's coming along!! Looking good.

yeah im sure, ups wieghed them before they shipped it. the info was on the packing list. I cant wait to get them on the car, ill post pics soon as i do.
Im in the process of geting the parts together for the brakes.
if anybody in the chicago land area wants to make some money, ill pay to have my rear brakes put on.

hopefully the swap will be done wensday, looks like it was break time, judging by the coffee cup on my car lol.
