Hi guys i just recent purchased a 93 mark VIII and i'm having a few problems with it wonder if anyone can help? 1st the A/c dosen't blow through the center vents only throiugh the defrost and floor vents. 2nd the windshiled wipers don't park themselves is that the motor or the switch? My car has 314 000 kms on it, so what kind maintenance items will the engine need?

For the Ac check the black vacuum line running across the intake to the right fender, there's a splitter in the right fender by the firewall, from there the line goes into the firewall and routes thru the dash behind the glove box, the other tail goes to a canister in the fender..check at the split for vacuum, this vacuum line is very skinny and can become extremly brittle over time. When the vents only blow out the defroster, it's a default for safety so you can still defrost your windshield incase of a vacuum leak

and...

no true rich, early 94's used the double plug wiper motors too, they mixed them up for 93 and 94, its like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get!!!!

i have about 3 million wiper motors if you want a good used one, or you can buy a new one too!

welcome 2 lvc this place is awsome.

Welp sounds like all the good fix suggestions have been suggested already!

Welcome to the site!

thanks guys i'll posta few pictures in the next few days when i pickup the car. How often do the timing chains and s tuff need to be replaced?

Ok where in Ontario are you? I am in Toronto and for the most part there are only a few of us around. Welcome.

Got to say 93 I think is the best year but then again Im a bit bias. hahaha... I had the same A/C vent problem Sapperfire is completely right. Mine broke off right at the engine. Ford used plastic vacuum lines, replace it with rubber and all will be better.
