(Dr. Nick voice) Hey everybody!

Picked up an 06 LS here in Dallas, TX not too long ago from a used car lot.
Silver birch metallic, factory nav/THX, 38k miles, HIDs, new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S rubber, Ford ESP.
Haven't done all that much to it. Added V8 emblems, SS lines, hardwired Valentine 1 and upgraded the stock speakers to Infinity Kappas.

She's been purring along just fine for the last couple of months but I guess it doesn't hurt to be prepared.
Anyone know which FLM dealer has the better service dept. around the Dallas area? Don't mind driving a ways out to get her serviced.

Welcome aboard!

Did you know your 06 has the stock wheels from the 03-05 models?

Thanks for the warm welcome fellas! :)

As far as upcoming mods :
1) SCT X3 (looking on the forums it looks like Torrie is the man to talk to)
2) Slotted/drilled rotors + ceramic pads (once the current ones give up the ghost)
3) Paint the calipers black (power coating would be great, but can't afford the downtime)
4) Whiter fogs/highs to match the HIDs

Owlman : Yeah, I thought that was weird as well since IINM the 06s come with the 5-spoke chrome wheels. But these are in pretty much perfect condition so no complaints.

LS4me : I used Kappa 682.9cfs with the Metra speaker harness adapter. Also stuck a patch of Hushmat on the door metal behind each speaker and lined the plastic edge of the speaker mount with it. Love the sound :)

P/S : Make sure to pay attention to the 0dB/-3dB tweeter gain toggle button on these. They were set to 0dB from the factory and sounded waaay too harsh. Was not fun to have to tear off all the door panels again o.O

I haven't been to the dealership with mine. I think even if they wanted to be fair that whole system is just set up to work against the consumer. I've been wondering too. I need to get a 80,000 mile service.

That's a beautiful LS you have there!

That is a nice looking LS. I'm jealous because it has everything that I want. A 06, front bumper with round foglights, and black interior. Can't wait to see what you do.

Thanks again fellas :)

@trifelife : Hopefully will just use the dealer for warranty work, but even then I'm sure all of us would like it done well even though 'ol Ford's footin' the bill.

Oh, before anyone gets the idea to crucify me, lemme add this to the mod list :P
- Add LVC decals to rear quarter glass
