Someone said if I didn't post pictures it didn't happen. So, here are three pictures I snapped really quick. It has 84,000 miles on it. It looks and rides great. There is a vibration of sorts and a slight grinding noise (hard to explain) at the right front of the car. The dealer said to bring it back in and they would look at it. Other than that, everything else looks great. Of course, time will tell. Any suggestions on what to look out for and inspect on this 2005 LSE? Thanks!

It might be a front wheel bearing. Are those 16s or 17s? Nice looking car BTW.

Yes. My second LS. I had an 01. The engine went out on me. I hope it is nothing serious. I did notice that the engine stumbled a couple of times under acceleration up hill. I'm at the dealer right now. Another issue I discovered is that the flap on the gas neck is stuck and will not flap back down. I couldn't even pump gas. Only got a gallon in.

03-05 have coil warranty till 100k. It's a TSB. They will stress test the coils to see if any are marginal that may not have thrown the CEL yet. You may also want to replace your VCG's too since they are the reason the coils/plugs fail due to oil leaking into the plug wells.

that noise could also be the sway bar linkage bushing, ive never heard one grind before tho.
in terms of thigns to look out for, i would say the corrosion on the aluminum pcs ... theres a tsb on that for 05. other than that nice ride

The VCG's were corrected beginning with 03 models I believe and I know for the 04 models and definitely for the 05. Not unless I have been deceived.
I did that job on my 01 LS and don't want to do it again.
I'm back from the dealership now and one coil was going bad. I believe #4 misfired 3 times since last cycle started but no CEL yet. They replaced that. Could not find anything wrong with the vibration from the right front. Actually, it was worse yesterday but not bad. I still feel a little something and only at around 40 to 50 mph. Driving the car back home, I could not really feel anything at all. If there is something, it is ever so slight. So maybe all is good.

Just to straighten out a few points.
1. The VCG issue was fixed on the 04 to 06s. (Not perfect, but a leakage rate no greater than other cars.) The 03s have extended coverage for it.
2. It's not a TSB, it's a "Customer Satisfaction Program." TSBs do not extend warranty.
3. Oil leakage is not the cause of coil failures. It's one thing that can contribute to it, but all of the coil failures that I have had have been with no oil and no water exposure. Ford indicates that the failures are "predominantly due to internal breakdown in the coil and lack of adhesion between the epoxy and the coil housing material."
So what's the fix; just keep buying new coils??? Or, are there better quality coils out there where this is not a continuing problem. I'm sure there is a lot of info. on this site about coils so I will do a search and see what I discover...not unless you want to elaborate more...Those coils are not cheap.

Allegedly , they revised the design to "fix" this issue.
but yes, the fix for bad coils is to replace them.
Good pick up. Need to post better shots in the near fututre.

Do you have the 05 LSE? Yes, looks like yours. Sharp car you have! The rims look nice. What are those?
Stock '04/'05 LSE wheels. I believe they are the same as the T-Bird.
The LSE wheels are the same as the T-Bird wheels, but a different center cap.
Skullkrushr has 19" Jaguar wheels on his LSE and they look great.
