I figured that would be a good location for them since it didn't have HID's originally. at least they have good airflow right there.

IMHO... Wing is nice but should've been the same silver as the car. However everyone has their own personal taste.

Forgot to mention... park your car next to that building back there, take a few low angle pics & choose one for the calendar. Nice car, nice headlamps deserves a spot in the calendar!

Pretty sure I could stick the spoiler from my blue Saturn SL on my Mark and have it look less out of place than that black one..

Actually, cloudy/overcast lighting is better for shiny/curvy subjects (unless you're a pro). More even lighting, less glare and contrast to deal with (digital cams have much less exposure latitude than, say, Kodachrome 64), more accurate exposure in "auto mode".
Nice car, nice pics, simple spoiler not "overkill" but will look even better after your paint job.
