Just picked up my 03 v8 today. Couldn't be happier, paid $5500 has 68k miles and she's a beauty. I'll try to upload some pics. I don't see many members with a genII in this color, i'd like to see what a Lse grille looks like on it but anyway I have a feeling i'll be on here quite a bit.

Welcome!!! Looking clean there. Thanks for the pics.

So I have to ask. What happened to the basketball backboard?

Is that autumn red? Looks good.

Welcome! And lse grilles look good on al ls's no matter the color. Also having the liscnese plate surround painted the color of the car makes a huge change.
And if you don't get an lse grille at least paint the grille surround the car color too

Wind blew the backboard clean off haha. Ive been looking at some lse grilles and they're pretty pricey having it custom painted to autumn red.

Welcome to LVC :)

Nice color and an LSE bumper is a great mod as well.

Thanks guys, I really didn't like the color at first but its growing on me. Can't complain for such a great deal.

Welcome, I was new here once lol, I also have the same color Lincoln but I have a gen1 and mines a slow6 haha. But once again welcome its a good forum and if it wasn't I wouldn't be on it 3-4 times a day

Welcome to the club. It seems that we've had a flood of new members here lately.

Probably in my top three colors for an LS. The color matching and LSE grille go a long way, let alone the bumper.

Looks great, welcome to LVC.

I just have one question, the Username stugots, do you happen to be Italian?

This is a great forum, best i've found for the LS.

And yes I am Italian, probably a little to proud of it.

I've just been going through my almost 10 years of maintenance records and there hasn't been a problem with it except an o2 sensor that went bad in 08. Guess that could be a good and bad. I bought it from family and they really kept it in pristine condition, I still have every oil change receipt from when they bought it.

Well 10 years and nothing has gone wrong...I hate to be a downer but that probly means that all the typical LS issues are going to show up soon. COPs, suspension parts going bad, cooling system parts breaking, etc. The good news is that you are in the right place to find help. Do a little searching before asking every question and you will get better responses. Read thru the 'Real Official Lincoln Ls Owners Guide' thread at the top of the LS forum and that will help you a lot. Using Google to search this site will work better than the LVC search engine.

The LS is a great car but needs a little TLC now and then. Once again...welcome!

I will be honest with you, this is the way I prefer my cars. If they are as they left the factory when i buy them, then I know what has been done. I also know that what has been done was done right. My 06 only had AC compressor replaced in its entire history when I bought it. Of course I was changing COPS and trans solenoids in the first 2 months of ownership....

Welcome. Another Autumn Red LS. Cool. Great looking Gen 2. The Autumn Red will grow on you. Nice sunny day and the pearl realy shines. I have a painted Gen 1 grille that I use to have on the LS. Re-installed the Mc:aren when I de-chromed the LS.

Honestly i'm scared of what I got myself into. I have a feeling i'll need to replace my front wheel bearing pretty soon. I found the letter for the extended warranty of the COPs and valve cover gaskets and im covered till November 2013 so im hoping they go out soon.

Wheel bearings are a common issue. Fronts are easy....bolt off bolt on. The rears require a press. If you are doing the work on your LS yourself you are ok but if you aren't mechanically inclined then its gonna cost you.
