hey how u guys doin. i just got a ls and found this place so i figured id ask u guys about the car. i got a 2003 v8 maroon with the nav txh 6 disc voice command system and i no this is a dumb question but bear with me. i wanna no if its possible to put in an aftermarket radio and if so is it difficult. do they make wire harnesses for plug n play etc. if u guys could help me i would really appreciate it. thanx

i dont understand, if you know that you may possibly be asking the most retarded question ever, why would you ask it? at least reword it to sound maybe more specific or anything but thats like asking if you can put a different brand of tires on the ls other then the ones that came with the car....i think pretty much any car that doesnt cost upwards of 100k can fit a aftermarket radio, and even then most of those are possible....
 
My name is Hidalgo i just bought a 2010 v-10 super sport lincoln ls coupe, limited edition with dinosaur skin interior, i'm thinking about putting 26 inch rims on it does anybody know where I can buy the lug wrench to put them on?:D
 
I can honestly say, almost every time I log on I end up on the floor laughing. No exception this time either.

If you do decide to put an aftermarket radio in your "new" LS please e-mail me and I would be more than happy to help you remove all the old radio stuff.

first off you have a really good head unit if its working fine dont dare to replace it its THX for craying out loud.... the sound is crystal clear even though 280 watts is not good for some of you guys but its fine for me.. but if you insist on changing it just do a search here this has been covered alot here.
 
Lol ok I shoulda reworded the question but anyway wat I meant was is there anything special that I need to do with this radio vs a car with no back up sensors or voice command etc. I wanna put in a sound system n I don't no which is the right harness I need. Also do they make double din kits to match the silver trim? Any help is appreciated thnx
 
Welcome to LVC. Let me forwarn you so we don't have to listen to you ranting later. Have a thick skin. People will give you a hard time. But it is all in fun. We will also do our best to help out. Use the search as often as you can. There is a massive amount of information on this forum already that likely covers everything you can imagine.
