hey for anyone who calls me via my cell phone i switched providers and phones, i updated my sig, the new number is 727-678-3223

MetroPCS? I've got them too, except mine is $40 a month flat with no additional fees or taxes includes unlimited text, pic messages, minutes, and nationwide coverage. Is that what you got Jamie?

So that's why I've been getting your voicemail ;)

I've had zero dropped calls in the year I've had this phone. I had a few dropped calls with Verizon, and tons of dropped calls with both T-mobile and Nextel.

Metropcs has been the best service I've had yet barnone!

I pay no extra for services as that ad would have you believe...I pay a flat $40 including everything tax, minutes, texts, picture texts, voice mail, internet. My bill NEVER changes it's always exactly $40.00...not $40.01, not $49.59....it's always $40.00. I can't say the same thing about all the other companies I've had that charge erroneous fees.

That writeup looks like it was biased. The other companies probably advertise with them so they are obligated to put the others on a pedestal. Don't be fooled by that. I used to work for a magazine and they do in fact put advertisers on a pedestal and over-glorify their products. Even the features or stories were all paid for articles in some way.

I myself can't speak bad about it because I don't have that network around here. I have AT&T and Jamie did also but wasn't happy with it. I have had them for 8 years and also have DSL Direct with them because I don't need a home phone for anything.

Never have dropped calls, where I live I have full service and rarely do I run into a spot where there is no service and I like the fact that I can use multiple phones that are unlocked. Just take the sim out and swap it over to a different phone but with Metro PCS, you can't do that because it's a CDMA network where AT&T, T-Mobile are GSM 1900 MHz networks with sim cards.

The price is a little higher than Metro and I'm not on contract with AT&T because when I want a new phone, I just buy off ebay or wirefly and if it's a phone that I like, I pay to have it unlocked to accept the AT&T sim card.

A lot of people hate AT&T and a lot hate T-Mobile and I'm one of them. I have 4 lines on my account along with the DSL Direct. I have the 1400 anytime minutes and of course free nights and weekends and as of now I have close to 3000 roll over minutes. Unlimited texting also and I pay around $168 per month. We have never went over the 1400 minutes except for once but that's where the roll over minutes come in handy. I text more than I talk. I don't think I'm paying too much but that's just me.

If I had 4 lines at $40 each, that would be $160 per month, not including DSL Direct. Not a big difference but I'm just not a fan of CDMA networks because of not being able to swap out phones. Verizon is one provider I would never have but some love it. Sprint is another I would never have but again, it's all about ones preference.

mine is $35 a month because we bought two phones, one for me, one for my wife, it would be 40 like derek's, except with us buying 2 phones, they knock 5 bucks off each additional phone line per month, so we'll pay 70 for both per month. man i am a texting madman now the phone i got is super easy to text, i have internet on it, email, voice navigation that is better than my father in laws Garmin gps, its awesome i am already in love with it. i can also load 2500 songs into it when ever i get the time!

Now if it could just do --->

You'll love the reliability. Seriously never a dropped call for me yet! For that price Jamie you just saved a bunch of money and benefited in multiple ways. You will definitely be happy with the move.
