well today after a trip to the vet i decided to re-wrap my a-pillars. they were wrapped in a carbon fiber vinyl, that was color matched to the outside of my car. it was to umm how do i say "plasticy". so i wrapped in peanut butter suede. attached are also a few pics of my trunk setup which is also in that same vinyl, soon to be suede......

why do you need your tweeters to show? I told my audio shop I've seen people install their tweeters outside where they are supposed to be installed and even on door panels...they said "Them just idiots that couldn't do it right" not to say you are one but that's just what they told me. And as far as I know it Benchmark Motoring are one of the best in the bussiness (check out the cars they work on)

I like the ultra-suede, I remember one of our members a while back did the A,B, C and head liner including the sun shades. I will be curious how it holds up to the sun light.

my tweeters are thier for proper staging. thats the point of a component set. i have heard of that shop. i work for a stereo company that took 3rd in last years pioneers sound off competition and 1st this year i have done cars for tommy matola and lute olsen. not to mention a few basketball players. not that im saying there cars sounded good. placment of tweeters is also opinion based. everyone likes there music to sound a little different, and everyone listens to a different type of music. your focals are a very bright speaker so my guess if you had a proper salesman is that you listen to mostly some sort of rock and roll whether it be classic or new age. and thanks for all the comments. i will post new pics of trunk when its finished. and if your wondering everything in the car is hertz and audison

...thats exactly where i put my tweeters....set of coaxles in the doors & a set of tweeters on the A-pillars - and what a difference they make!...great job with the suede!

how hard is it to do the suede for the pillars and headliner? I've been wanting to do it for a while now but never known how much work really goes into it. now that i have a garage again i may do it.

ive been doing it for awhile so its not difficult for me. the hardest part is having a second set of hands that do what there told, haha. sometimes you will accidently stick the fabric to itself or to a part of the headliner that you didnt mean to and you will need other hands to hold it off the ground or pull pieces apart. hint: dont ask your gf to be the second set of hands, especially if shes blond. haha its really not bad just think of it as a huge piece of duct tape.

yeah when that song came out everyone said it was my song. not because of the lyrics but in the beginning he says yeah buddy. i call everyone buddy even customers and strangers its a horrible habit
