That video of Rollin's car with those neons looked pretty damn good IMO.

Back in the early ninties when the licence plate frames first came out around here I though they were pretty neat and even had a lime green one on my teal green '75 nova. I think it sucks now though.

My LS apparently had them at one time. When I had the back on jack stands I discovered a stick of neon tube about two feet long on the side of the frame.I looked at the rest of the car and there was a bunch of attaching brackets where there used to be a whole kit at one time. Always wondered what that aftermarket switch at the bottom of the dash was for. :shifty:

Don't do it.

In the plans for my car :D

White ones though. And it appears Im the only one who selected 'yes' and my opinion is more valuable than anyone else here :D

kidding, but seriously. Neon is cool.

I bought white ones about 3 months ago, and I'm still debating to put them on or not.

I really want them to only go on when I have my blinkers on. So they aren't on constantly and I don't need a switch (I think).

Does anyone know if this is possible???

Neon or LED "pretty colors" lighting is best left for the Dodge Neon or Honda Civic crowds.

It detracts from the classy look of the LS. If the whole look of the car is modded it can be made to work, but for a relatively stock looking LS, it looks childish.

Agreed on RollinLS, it looked pretty good.

Hey man, when we have our next MN meet I better not see you with neons. If you want to have neons you better go to a Fast and Furious meet.

I my opinion. Accent lighting like neons or LEDs only work for modded cars. Not on stock looking cars. They seem out of place.

Now, you could do "puddle lights". Single white LED lights spaced apart under the car. I have seen them on several Lexus, Infiniti, BMW, etc. sedans. But those cars were modified. Lowered, wheels, etc..

And pimped out 18 wheeler Mack Trucks.

We don't like those too much here in WV. They're too weak to pull the hills with the loads they try to pull and they try to fly down the hills thinking that it helps. 99.8% of all the interstate accidents on the little strip of highway running through my town are caused by 18-wheelers that are too weak with drivers that are too clueless for driving on mountains. You guys are still driving, so you're apparently not in that group (thank goodness) :D

That said, there are some nice looking rigs out there.

I stare at that truck and can't comprehend the culture that would think that it's cool, and I'm pretty tolerant of some pretty ghey things. I'm at a loss for words
