Hello all,

Just purchased an 03 Lincoln LS V8 and was recently replacing some of the plastic cooling parts as it was leaking and overheating, when I ran across these two lines being held on by electrical tape to the intake. I have ordered a TPS in response to the engine's fail-safe mode coming on after about 30 minutes of driving, but could it have been due to these lines? I don't know what they are and would like to replace them. Forgive me if it is obvious, but I'm not the most mechanically inclined.

Thanks

I hope the attached .pdf file helps. Copied from the Lincoln LS service manual. You need to add "3W4Z-" in front of the part numbers to do a search. https://car-part.com is a good source to start looking. I bought the turn signal/wipers column switch from Mills Auto Parts in Ft Wayne, Indiana. They have a yard with Ls's and may have the tubes you need.
