Need a cold air intake

Update. Had a subaru imprezza challenge our ls at a light. Kid was redlining ****s and i was dusting him. I would slow down for a sec till he caught up, then floored it again. Smoked him

These people also do not know what a supercharger sounds like.
^ this guy may actually know what a blower sounds like... :D

we ment that it gave off a similar sound of a supercharger.
oh, i understand exactly what you meant, i just dont think anybody that has actually been around FI cars would actually agree, maybe you should listen to some of quiks videos

ive personally had many supercharged cars, and of course it doesnt beat the sound of a flutter valve on a turbo
you had many turbo valves on your SC'ed cars? cool i guess.

I thought you were going to meth or e85 to add in some extra unicorn piss to the fire to push them turbos?

I love it! Bull you kill me sometimes!

To the OP I did a lower grille intake for a bit on my '01. It worked fairly decent until I hit a big pothole and ripped it out.

Sometimes it's not the tool but the tool using the tool.

I honestly didn't read half of the nonsense here, but does anyone know of cold air intake possibilities on V6 Gen 1's? From what I've searched it seems it's mostly custom.

you mean we smoked him...

update

So to the person that recommended the delete of the two silencer pieces on the intake tube, well, its done. It sounds so much better without them there

i made mine custom. a friend had an old K&N filter from an old fox body, and some extra 1/4" aluminum laying around, so i milled a piece of to match up to the MAF adapter and welded it to a few inches of aluminum tube that fit the filter, only cost me three hours and a case of beer.

i have seen maf adapters that you can buy, but i dont know if they are the same between the 3.0 and the 3.9.

Thanks for the tip, I actually found one on eBay for about 70, trick is its 40 shipping, but it's still a steal for the whole setup. Don't have a link but if you search for lincoln ls intake you'll find it.
