wow, take it easy buddy. It was just a joke... obviously its not an LS engine. dont go all crazy on us. We'd love to see what you've done, just having a little fun in the mean time... Although 20HP out of it is extremely unlikely, and unless its tuned, may not be seeing anything at all... A vid is a must though, I'd love to hear it!!! ...and kudos to your GF gma, thats impressive
 
what we hear is the air pulling into the filter creates a whistling noise that resembles the sound of a supercharger the intake also added a more throaty sound to the engine
 
ya. ill do a couple videos. one as a pass by and one from inside on a hard accelaration. gonna wait till it cools down. its 100 degrees in az right now lol. its all good lol

Yes, thats what an intake is supposed to sound like.

Thats not what a supercharger sounds like...maybe at idle u hear a whistle on a supercharged car.
 
most of us cant afford to hydrolock an engine lol...but others have had success with it
 
when it rains we simply pull the elbow off and put the intake back under the hood and cover the hole in the engine bay and we're good to go its not even a 5 min job
 
You and your GF sure do a lot together.... you say "we" for everything :p

? Also what about the mass air flow sensor adapter...does it come with one or where could I get one?
 
I git a tt run for you. 91 300zx tt. 100 octane. Twin 60mm trim garrett turbos, hks intercooler, gorilla bov, dual hks stainless exhaust. Dynoed in at 675 at 20lbs boost
