Need a 95 plastic gas tank asap

I crunched my gas tank and my mechanic can only find metal tanks locally and I need the plastic one , anybody know where I can find one?

I tried to call max but the 800 number did not work from canada I sent a email but no reply yet

I've got a tank (IIRC it is plastic) but I can't even begin to imagine shipping the thing, much less to Canada, eh?

you better make sure that whoever sells one to him, it cannot smell like gas AT ALL or you can get in some serious trouble shipping it. i shipped one to billcu a few years ago and i washed it out with dish soap first and let it sit upside down for a week before i even thought of shipping it. if the shipping company smells the slightest amount of gas oh boy!!!!!!!!!! be warned.....

Jamie will know for sure. I can tell you this though: my 93 has a plastic tank.

Shipping the tanks is a BAD idea these days, the tank will have to have cert. of leak free operation, has to be under written for insurance reasons, and a LONG LONG LONG list of demands to ship it since its been impregnated with fuel and is considered hazerdous cargo.

That tank fits93-95 but the new number fits to a 96 as well. There are 6 available that I just found at an obsolete parts warehouse and available for shipping to a US address. The p/n is a F5LY-9002-A and list was $678.27 and TENTITIVE COST is $508.70 plus oversize shipping.
